Ideal for bhaji's
Love making Indian starters and needed kitchen tool to remove home made bhaji and samosas from the deep fryer. This is THE tool, perfect for the job, well made and great price. Very pleased.

Works exactly as intended
Decent, would buy again. Diameter is about the palm of my hand. A couple of reviews suggest this is flimsy: Metal is robust at the action end but a bit thin at handle end (hole to hang up being a bit sharp); this is not a problem for light home use and will work for years to come. And one mentioned rust: not had any problem here, I quickly washed by hand after and it’s as shiny as when arrived.

Good value, satisfactory quality and quick delivery
Good value, satisfactory quality and quick delivery, considering it's posted from China (How can they make a profit from this?)Really useful for deep frying or blanching vegetables.I hand wash and dry mine, as many 'stainless' steel products still rust in the dishwasher, despite reassuring claims; I doubt, for this price, it is top grade 'stainless steel'.Very pleased.

Mesh Ladle Strainer - Exceptional value
Great price super fast delivery. At first I was concerned by how little the strainer weighed and feared it would be flimsy and not last. But these early fears have proven unfounded. It's perfect for straining all types of veg and very useful for removing deep fried food such as tempura etc. The strainer is easy to clean equally OK in a dishwasher or conventionally in a sink.

Decent enough for the price.
Not as robust as it looks in the photo, but then again, what does one expect for less than £2.00.

Useful, light & good quality
What a useful product. Heard about using spider strainer on a culinary course & this one is ideal. It’s long handle & small diameter makes it useful in the kitchen. Not sure how I managed without it

Great super useful little utensil!
It’s just one of those products that you say ‘how did I ever live without!’. All those times previously trying to fish things out hot oil with all sorts of utensils! This makes life so much easier. Bought predominantly for Churros and glad I did!

perfetta
finalmente una che non si arrugginisce! La uso per scolare verdure, pasta, fritto... L'altro giorno è stata comodissima per sciacquare i capperi dal sale, il sale passava, i capperi restavano!

Whether poaching or frying fritters, dumplings, donuts, or french fries, I like this spider-strainer a lot.
I paid the full price for this "Mesh Net Strainer Ladle 8.1 Inch Long" that I bought from the seller Uxcell at Amazon in July. I've been using this asian spider strainer to retrieve such things as dumplings, fritters, donuts, and french fries from my poaching or frying liquids for several months now, and I like it a lot. It seems both light yet well constructed of what appears to be stainless steel. Its spot welds look sturdy, yet I've not subjected any part of it to any mechanical stresses to test its resistance to failure from strain, and I do not intend to. I'm in the habit of treating all of my tools and utensils with care. The outer diameter of its basket is five and a quarter inches, with a depth of an inch and three eighths; the effective length of its handle is eight and a quarter inches at roughly a thirty degree upward angle from the face of the basket; the length of the grip at the end of the handle is four inches, the width and thickness of which are about thirteen sixteenths and nine sixteenths of an inch. I regard this Strainer Ladle as both well made — especially when I contemplate the economical manufacturing material efficiency that might lead some purchasers (including me) to regard many utensils and appliances as flimsy — and a bargain at its $2.43 price (mailed directly from overseas via China Post) in July of 2016.
