I wanted a microscope to view and assist in cleaning old coins. This microscope is at a low price but works very wellIt magnifies clearly and without any distortion through the lens. It has a built in light, you just have to add a battery. The adjustment of the scope on the pillar is smooth and accurate. The eye pieces adjust by turning closer or further appart to suit your eyes. Unless you want to spend £100 plus this is ideal. It comes complete with some preared slides and some bare slides for you own samples. This is an excelent buy.

I gave this to my almost-7-year-old grand daughter for Christmas. And though of course she needed help in setting it all up she could manage to use it and was thrilled with it. So good being binocular rather than monocular

Excellent optics, almost as good as one that cost several times more. Easy for a child to carry around as it is lightweight. The built-in light really helps see the specimen. The eyepieces are loose, so a bit of electricians' tape helps keep them in place. Ideal for an under-11 year old.

It's pretty cool, I didn't expect much and I was pleasantly surprised.I've used it for working on watch parts I destroyed; the adjustment is fairly solid, there's only slight fringeing around the edge of circle of vision and no obvious lens distortion.Worth the money, I say.

As a biologist I have used professional microscopes for years and am familiar with the good and the bad. This microscope is a low power = x20 = stereo magnifier. The lenses are good and the construction is robust. It is NOT a professional quality, but, for the price it is excellent, and with reasonable care should last for many years. It is fit for purpose, and performs very well. This was bought as a present for a six-years old boy, though his grandmother had hours of pleasure looking at flowers and insects before giving it as a gift. The product is made in China, which explains the low price, and is excellent value for money at £35. Two AA batteries are required for the light and are an additional purchase, though the light is not essential in normal daylight.

Bought this for at home sample prep (geology – crystal picking) and this is entirely sufficient. Can put one 10x and one 20x lens in each eyepiece to get both magnifications (20x and 40x) at the same time, which is more useful than switching a pair of them out. I am able to use this with a bright desk lamp – haven't yet tried the built in light. Comes with a microscope cover (useful). I had to put one of the plastic bags on the back part as it's quite greasy, on account of adjustable focus – this solves the problem well enough.

This microscope needs a new part which has failed. I have contacted the company twice as it is still under guarantee which runs out soon and I have had no response. So I would not recommend this to buy.

Nice product but cheap plastic. I bought this for my grandson. A lot of cheap microscopes are all plastic but this one has glass lenses but the body has a cheap feel. It works well for price. I tested it before I gave it to him and for his first microscope it was very clear. Bought a stereo one because that is what is recommended for children because it is easier for them to focus with two eyes rather than just one.

Stereomicroscopio economico e compatto, veloce da montare e semplice da usare, lo impiego soprattutto per piccole ricerche malacologiche (molluschi e le loro conchiglie), in particolare per setacciare il sedimento alla ricerca dei nicchi più piccoli. Unica pecca l'illuminazione, più che sufficiente per l'ingrandimento x20, un po' limitata quando si adopera il x40, anche se per questo prezzo si tratta di un difetto perdonabile. Base molto leggera ma alquanto solida, non dà problemi di sorta. Acquisto consigliato 👍

Angesichts des Preises <50€ war ich überrascht, ob der schon recht guten optischen Qualität und des recht kompletten Lieferumfanges. Natürlich gibt es dafür noch keine Metallausführung, aber immerhin schon Glaslinsen passabler optischer Güte, doch im Einzelnen:++ für die Preisklasse sehr gut auflösende Optik-> 20fach mittels 10er weit Okular sieht wirklich gut aus, fast schon brillianter als auf dem Vergleichsschülermikroskop Amscope 306, dass natürlich besser auflöst, aber irgendwie blasser wirkt)-> 40x mittels ebenfalls im Lieferumfang befindlicher 20er Okulare ist dann aber auch merkbar die absolute Obergrenze der Optik (hier werden Strukturen schon zu farbigen Punkten..) - noch brauchbar für den visuellen Eindruck, aber ohne optische Mehrinformation zum guten, hellen, scharfen 20x Bild++ Lieferumfang:- Mikroskop mit integrierter allerdings nur 2*AA Batteriebetriebener LED (die etwas schwach auf der Brust ist und allenfalls als Notbeleuchtung durchgeht, aber besser als keine Lampe und für den schnellen Blick bei schwachem Licht gerade noch ok -> würde auf jeden Fall die Anschaffung einer billigen Ring LED empfehlen, wenn doch ernsthafter und länger damit bei schlechten Lichtverhältnissen mikroskopiert werden soll)- zwei 10x Weitfeld und zwei 20x Okulare (womit man wahlweise bei 20x oder 40xer Vergrößerung endet, was aber für den normalgebrauch vollkommen ok ist, klar wäre ein Zoom schöner, aber bei dem Preis sicher nicht vernünftig realisierbar)- Staubschutzhaube- ein präparierter Käfer (für den eigentlichen Stereozweck)- 10 Glasträger, davon 5 mit ansehnlichen Präparaten (Zwiebel, Stengelschnitte, Fliegenbein ...) wirklich ganz nett gemacht als Einstieg und 5 zur freien eigenen Verwendung, auch wenn es kein Durchlichtmikroskop ist, kann man die Präparate Auflicht-Stereo gut erkennen+ das Gehäuse ist zwar "nur" aus Plastik, macht aber durchaus einen einigermaßen robusten Eindruck, ist recht leicht (für Kinder sehr portabel) und läßt sich sehr fein über das Einstellrad justierenNegativ ist mir eigentlich bis dato nichts aufgefallen.Aus meiner Sicht eine preiswerte, runde Sache als Einstieg für Kinder in die Mikroskopie, und selbst für Erwachsene bei 20x sehr brauchbar nutzbar (100 mal besser als jede chinesische Billiglupe mit 45x Pseudovergrößerung)Wohlverdiente 5 SternePS: scheint im übrigen baugleich mit dem Bresser-Kindermikro, das etwas teuerer ist und bei dem ich nicht diesen Lieferumfang (zusätzliche Okulare und Präparate) erkennen konnte
