Fleming Medical FA89/1 Mepitac Silicone Dressing Tape, 2cm x 3cm

Ideal for delicate skin. Recommended to me by a member of the kidney unit medical staff. Unfortunately it is rather expensive to buy if not available on prescription.

I used this while recovering from a tummy tuck. It's very simply to use, can be restuck if you need to look underneath for anything.I began using this once my wound had completed sealed over. Was great to put it on and forget about it. Didn't ever roll or peel off. I'm now 8 months post op and my scar is practically invisible now. Highly HIGHLY recommend.

Used this for top surgery scar, been using the last two weeks and it's definitely helped my scars, they've not widened or stratched at all, I've had no reaction to the adhesive (unheard of for me!) My usescars arent red or bulging they're actually healing really nicely - if I can edit this post I'll keep updating but so far really impressed!!!Update 18 Months later - I continued to use this tape for another 5 months after surgery and my scars are practically invisible, highly recommend!

This is a good product for covering scars when your skin is dry and is going to remain dry. It is no good if you get sweaty or go into a swimming pool as it just peels off.

I was recommended by my surgeon to use silicon tape to reduce two 3-inch scars post surgery. This product was reviewed well and I would also recommend it. As instructed by my nurse, I have worn the tape 24/7, except when showering, for the last two months. The scars are still obvious but are no longer raised and are definitely reducing. I think I will need to continue using it for some time but I am optimistic the final results will be good. It is quite expensive but I have re-used it for several days before needing to replace.

I keloid very badly, I’ve tried lots of scar gels ect in the past so was very dubious about this, but thought it would be worth a try. I’ve been using this after a BL and BA 2 weeks ago and I’m actually shocked how much this has helped my scars. 100% recommend.

Very good tape would of given 5 stars but arrived with box ripped, but the product is brilliant

I’m using this for my surgery scars, I don’t know the difference between these and others as in outcome, but I do know is convenient to be able to cut them to the sizes I need and it turns up much cheaper than buying those pieces of tape that you have to use more of them, patch them together and end up spending triple the money.

It is incredibal! My scars are so nice and healed well.

Having a sensitivity to adhesives, I was able to use this product and not have it bother me. Yes it's definitely a good product.
