OtterBoxApple iPhone 7 Plus Strada Series Leather folio case - Onyx Black

When upgrading to my iPhone 8 Plus, I immediately wanted to get a premium case. The Apple cases weren’t an option after having one on my 6s...whilst they mostly protect the phone brilliantly well, the fact that the bottom of the case is open often meant my phone would get scratched or chipped if dropped. Then there is the cost of them! The other thing I wanted was a ‘folio’ style case, since I’d just written off my 6s’ screen. I didn’t want that to happen to my beautiful, shiny, new 8 Plus.I used to work for Apple retail, a long time ago. OtterBox cases were always recommended in the store I worked in, due to the amazing protection and relatively good prices. But they were always a bit ugly and bulky. This CANNOT be said about the OtterBox Strada Series. As well as having the typical OtterBox quality, the look of this case is fantastic. It doesn’t add to much bulk to the phone, and the leather is so far wearing well (I’ve been using the case for over a month, and my phone is CONSTANTLY used in my field of work), and I'm absolutely confident of the quality of the case. The card slot comfortably caters for a maximum of two cards, ideal for nights out where having a wallet in your pocket is inconvenient!There was only one issue with this case, and I must stress at this point that you'll be hard pressed to find someone as particular as me when is comes to HUGE expectations...As much as the case offers AMAZING protection, including a very soft interior to the case that protects the glass on the back of the iPhone 7/7Plus 8/8 Plus from both scratches and impacts (a feature that I’ve only ever seen in all Apple and some Khomo cases), the opening for the camera didn’t seem very protective to me. The plastic is exposed on the left and bottom sides of the opening, which to me seemed like it could scratch the glass on the back of the phone. My solution to this was to take some masking tape and carefully cut and stick it on that I felt weren’t adequately protected. It took minutes, and made me feel extremely happy after doing it. I’ve attached a photo of what I did to this review.Other than the above, the case is amazing. I believe that with my modification, you’ll struggle to find a case that looks as good as this whilst offering such a high level of protection.

Great product, nicely packaged, arrived in perfect condition, on time & I’m delighted with product. Best price found.Had same version for iPhone 7 & this one is just as good, with added benefit of ‘stand’ feature, works very well.I frequently drop my phone, & it protected my iPhone 7 perfectly (without added screen protector), over 24 months of daily use & no damage to phone. Reason I ordered again - confidence in product.As final note....the last case has worn very very well in 24 months, no fraying at seams ... leather has wear marks in the leather, but only as to be expected. Happy customer. Would order again.

This cover is by far and away the best cover I've ever used on one of my iPhones! I've had iPhones since the 3G and since getting a new 7 plus, I felt it was more vulnerable, being larger than what I'm used to, so felt it needed a more substantial cover for added protection. This has it all. Very well made with high quality materials, looks, fits and feels excellent all round, and gives great confidence in the protection it provides. I was not sure about paying out over £30 for a phone cover, but since receiving it the doubts have all gone! A very well spent £30 I'd say. Great job Otterbox!!

I've had my iPhone in this case for a little more than 8 months now and whilst I was initially cautious about spending so much on just a phone case, I am glad I did.I've owned a number of phones and I've always bought a cheaper folio case. They have always begun to look untidy after a month or two.I'm pretty tough on cases. I cycle a lot and my phone is in my shorts pocket. Daily journeys take their toll. However, the Otterbox has stood the test of time exceptionally well.I won't say there are no signs of wear, but I have to look closely to see them. Anything other than the black version might show up the wear more obviously.Functionally, it's remained completely intact and still feels like a premium product in the hand.The only downside is not a fault of design or defect in any way, but dust loves to collect in the lower speaker / mic / thunderbolt port areas of the case and phone. That's just an unavoidable thing purely because there needs to be gaps in the case at those points.Any future phone purchase will see me buying an Otterbox folio style case.

This is just a class item. It looks so smart and it feels so solid. I don't feel worried at all with this. It feels very secure and the buttons are all very accessible. The magnetic clasp is nice and secure, does not feel like its going to fall off which they can often do!I only have 2 small issues with it, 1 is the price - it is an expensive case. But then again the iPhone 7+ is not a cheap device. Secondly is the microphone, this case seems to muffle the mic a little. Not hugely, but enough so that if others on the receiving end don't have a decent speaker then they may have some difficulties hearing you.All in all i would highly recommend this case!

Fabulous case - smart, elegant and well put-together. Exactly what you would expect from a premium brand.I've been using this for about six months, during which time my iPhone 7 plus has had a couple of pretty hard knocks a drop or two and been slung in my work bag. The phone is still as new.The magnetic closure is just the right strength and the case can be folded to stand your phone nicely in a portrait orientation. The magnetic closure also fastens the flap securely behind the phone when you're using it. All of the ports are fully accessible, including the mute toggle switch, and I have big fingers. The control buttons are as easy to use as the would be on the naked phone.

Me decante por esta funda porque toque en persona la versión para el 7 , así que la busqué en Amazon para la versión Plus , una vez encontrada la compré y justo como me esperaba, de materiales excelentes, cuero de alta calidad, como se acopla al dispositivo es sencillo y rápido, a demás de que se cierra de tal manera que no puede entrar algún tipo de partícula y raye el dispositivo , como pasa con otras fundas de este estilo, la verdad que estoy encantado con ella y la recomiendo, es muy robusta y de alta calidad.

De la qualité au service de l'iphone. De nombreux produits Otterbox différents testés et tous approuvés. Celui là me convient particulièrement pour le sac à main (double protection avec la vitre de protection pour l'écran.Petite suggestion : un peu de couleur et de fantaisie n'empêcherait pas la fonction de protection et rendrait l'étui un peu moins ... strict !

Perfetta in (quasi) tutto, Otterbox è una garanzia!!! Non assegno 5 stelle solo perché quando la custodia è aperta e ripoegata su se stessa oscura l’obiettivo della macchina fotografica, ovviabile lasciando penzolare il coperchio senza ribaltarlo completamente.
