This is a great quality item
This is a great quality item. The plastic it's made of is strong and it handles firmly as an cutting tool. It comes with spare blades and a little pad to put the needle on so you don't get a hole in your work (although the needle will eventually make it's way through the plastic pad). All the circles I cut were perfect, the blade doesn't move off kilter while cutting. And you can cut with a really light touch too. This is SO much better than the Jakar one I bought which was poor quality and useless as it moves while cutting.

Took some getting used to but overall a great product.
When I fist got this, I struggled. I was trying to cut a circle in mount board in one swoop. This causes it to tear, jolt and cause an awful finish. After doing research, I found that the circle should be created gradually and over a few rotations. This works much better and the finish is perfect. It is quite fiddly and takes a while to really feel at home with it, but it really is simple to use once you know what you are doing. It comes with a spare blade which is handy and it has a protector to cover the blade when not it use. It only loses 1 start because the 'handle' is quite small and holding it between my finger and thumb is quite awkward. This aside, brilliant product, I recommend it.

Just works!
Excellent little tool - it works really well and is easy to use. I suppose the only thing that could be done to improve it would be to have a wheel to adjust the radius of the cut (as you find on micrometers). Even without this I was able to cut very accurate 75mm discs through multiple sheets of thick paper. So, great tool, well made, easy to use, inexpensive, and it arrived very quickly (in two days, one day before the estimated arrival).

Flimsy and useless.
No numerical measurement markers on the body. The compass point doesn't sit still no matter how much pressure you use. And as a finishing touch, the blade snapped during first use. Awful product.

Great (with Practice)
This circle cutter takes some getting used to, but offers great results. I was able to cut through 0.75mm plasticard without issue. I find the secret is to work your way around slowly, going back over what you have just cut, before moving on. Several passes will be needed for thicker materials. The overall build is very sturdy, you get plenty of extra blades and it can be fixed to a set distance with ease. I would not hesitate to purchase again.

cCts with accuracy
Excellent and does the job. To stop the centre point moving I put a piece of sellotape where I push the point. Cuts very accurately with no 'wandering' of the centre point. I have not tried the rubber center foot so cannot comment on that. Good piece og kit

Very nice little item. Good quality, I'm using it to cut wheel dots for vintage RC buggies out of 0.8mm polycarbonate. Couple of rotations and the polycarbonate is scored plenty deep enough to be able to simply snap off the excess. Result is exactly what I was looking for.

I needed something to put holes a little less than 1/2" in diameter in the middle of large sheets of heavy paper (less than 1/4" radius.) I had been doing it with pencil marks and an Xacto knife and it was a real pain, and very time consuming, and the results were never perfect. This little tool does a far better job, and is super fast and easy to use. I saw a comment where someone said they could do a 1/8" hole, but I don't see how this is possible. The smallest hole it can make, from what I can tell, is about 7/16" in diameter, or a little less than 1/4" radius. Lucky for me, that's just what I needed. The tool comes with a blade installed, plus five spare blades stored in the safety cover (a separate plastic guard not shown in the photo.) Probably *not* going to work very well on something thick like corrugated cardboard, but would certainly work on heavy flat (non-corrugated) cardstock -- you might just need to run the blade around a few times, no big deal. Oh, and they even give you a little circular thing (about the size of a thumbtack head, with a non-skid bottom) that you can put in the center of your circle, and put the tool center on top of, so that you don't put a pinhole in your paper if you are going to keep (rather than discard) the round piece of paper after it's been cut out. This thing also fits neatly in the blade guard. For best results, I recommend using this with a cutting mat such as the DAHLE Vantage cutting mat (also a great product.) If you need to make perfect, small, round holes in paper or cardstock, I can't imagine a better tool, and a screaming bargain.

Pretty good. It works mostly as I'd expect and it's compact and easy to use and I really like it, but I may need more practice to use it perfectly. The only complaints I would have is that if you use the little "foot" to not leave a hole in the center of what you cut then it may slide a bit unless you use something else to keep it in place. I've also had issue with the blade not properly reaching the materal when using the "foot". And I'd also add that if the material is more fragile but won't cut super easy it's possible to have it tear a larger center hole when not using the "foot". The one thing I'd like different is for there to be a way to adjust the blade so you can adjust the depth for when you have the "foot" on or off. But it's pretty good, I just need more practice and I'd probably recommend you fix whatever you're cutting so it can't move. But, for most applications I'd say it's good from the limited testing I've done.
