Black oil
A very ‘oily’ oil that does not dry down like the rosehip regenerate. I’m deep in perimenopause and the lower half of my face has suddenly become prone to cystic acne. I wanted to try a treatment that doesn’t strip my skin like the peroxides and acids I’ve become reliant on.The oil didn’t cause any new spots and may have worked had I given it longer but it was quite unpleasant to use and have on my face overnight so I’ve found I haven’t reached for it again and I’ve gone back to using salicylic acid toner on the affected areas at night.
