So I bought these to see how useful a cheaper oil pastel could be not really expecting a lot from them but pleasantly surprised as the colour/pigments are fairly dense. They are a little waxy and some of the colours tend to lay down a little like a wax crayon but with a smidge of baby oil this softens and makes the pastel sit into the surface better. I've yet to give them a proper test drive but have sampled all the colours and for broad mark making they'll work out OK. Not artist quality but OK for student/beginners starting out with the medium and worth the money which was very reasonable for 72 pieces.

Excellent oil pastels at a great price what can be better!
