Good functional Casio watch
Good quality, cheap casio watch. Looks like a G shock but isn't. Accurate as it is quartz. Multiple functions, stopwatch, alarm, back light, countdown timer, split times, vibrating alarm. 10 bar of water resistance so good for pool on holiday. Back light is ok, legible digits.

Incredible value, feature-packed, and very easy to use.
Comfortable, functional, easy to read. All of the main features (the countdown timer, stopwatch, alarm, and alternate time) are really quick & straightforward to navigate through, set, and use. The backlight is really bright and quick to turn on with the huge button on the front (however it doesn't stay on for very long when you activate it).Obviously the unique feature of the watch is the vibrating alarm function. The vibration here is very noticeable without being too loud, and so is very useful for if you need silent alarms in a quiet office or library, if you're in a very loud or hectic environment that would drown out a normal chime, if you're listening to music, or if you're deaf. Much more reliable that a phone on silent which can easily be missed if placed somewhere where it won't be felt. I use the countdown timer for the Pomodoro technique a lot - and when I'm doing that I'm either listening to music, in a library, or both - so the countdown with the vibe alarm is a really really useful feature for me. You'd honestly wonder why a vibration function isn't much more common on digital watches after using this.It is important to note however that this is not reliable as a wake-up call alarm unless you're certain that you're a light sleeper. While the vibration is definitely strong enough and the chime definitely loud enough for daily use, neither are so powerful as to wake the dead; unfortunately, I'm quite a heavy sleeper and so the alarms are useless for that purpose for me. However this isn't really a negative point for me, as no watch I've ever used has been able to wake me.It's also worth noting that you can't use vibration and sound at the same time. You set the watch to either use sound alarms or vibration alarms; you can't have, say, a sound alarm for your daily alarm and a vibration for the countdown, and nor can you have both vibration and sound on at the same time. It is, however, very easy to switch between the two, simply by holding down the start button in the main clock mode.Another neat little feature worth noting is that you can set it to chime or vibrate very briefly at the top of the hour. Surprisingly useful if you're the type of person to lose track of time, "zone out", or just forget to look at your watch. Again, like everything here, this feature is very easily toggled on and off. While I didn't buy it for its looks and wasn't expecting a fashion item, I did find that I got used to the slightly chunky look and feel much quicker than I expected. There's certainly more discrete or elegant Casio watches than this, but not ones this durable, with this feature-set, at this price-range.All in all, I'm really pleased with this. It has a jam-packed feature set with no unnecessary gimmicks, it's remarkably easy to use, and it's comfortable enough to wear all day including sleeping and showering. The price is really, really good for all of this. There are probably some much more expensive G-Shock Casios that might surpass this in terms of features, but given just how well this one does what it does at less than a third of the price, this is really worth giving a try.

Only just got thiswatch but even so for the price it is fantastic ...
Only just got this watch but even so for the price it is fantastic so farI had previously had two of the entry level casio's which are not quite robust enough for me needs (but only £12 at the time). This watch is the perfect stop gap between the entry level and the g-shock as I cannot afford that at the moment. The best thing about the range of this style of watch is that it is robust enough for work but still looks good enough for most occasions.First things first, my take on the vibration alarm/function debate:- like most others I have to say if you are buying the watch purely for the silent alarm function to not disturb your partner don't, you would have to either be a really light sleeper or just be lucky that your body got in tune with it. That said for my needs the vibration function is brilliant. I bought this watch as i love the style and was an upgrade to the entry level, I would normally turn off the hour indication beep and for using the watch as a timer/countdown for exercise I couldn't wear headphones as you would hear the beep. With the vibration function turned on the hourly indication vibration is non-intrusive and after a couple of days once you are used to it and the novelty has worn off (so you are no longer looking at the watch every time it vibrates) it will be a nice indicator of the hour with disturbing you o those around. And the same goes for setting the alarm during the day as a reminder for something, it wont disturb those around you but you will feel it.Once last note on the vibration, I don't where my watch overnight it is too chunky and on the bedside table I did not notice the hourly vibration at all.Watch Function:Not much to say but the usual easy to use and useful Casio functionsMy main reason for buying Casio is for work, I need a robust watch with a digital display, that said currently it is my only watch and I love them all the time.Unlike some of the Casio's the light is a nice clear white, the display is easy to read in direct natural light and everything is visible on the display at night when using the light function. The two timers and the alarm both work as with all Casio's and as to the menu's that is the same as all Casio's as well - once you are used to it, it is quick and easy using a Casio and this watch is no different. The best thing about this model is the countdown feature - if using a timer for exercise with the countdown feature you set the time and it counts down in to it, so no flapping about at the start of a routine trying to set off the timer and start your exercise at the same time. It works very well.Waterproofing:Haven't tested it yet but I don't wear a watch when swimming anyway and I am not a diver - the entry level Casio of this style (see link below) never had any issues being worn in the shower so I do not expect any issues here.Overall I would rate this watch as very good, good overall functions, size and weight and comfort. Four Stars until durability has been tested. If you are looking for a step up from this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Casio-W-214HC-1AVEF-Quartz-Digital-Display/dp/B007EBU9VI/ref=sr_1_47?s=watch&ie=UTF8&qid=1472906050&sr=1-47&keywords=casioBut cannot find a G-Shock you both like and and can afford and waterproofing does not need to be bullet-proof then go for it!

Good Vibrations but not too Alarming!!! Lol
Seriously, good watch! Aren’t that many vibration watches out there and this one is very good value as most Casio watches are! I have a quite a few in my collection. And none of them have let me down! I use mine on the countdown timer function at non league football matches to remind me when it’s coming up to halftime and full time! I can never hear the beeps at any time when I’m out! 10 year battery life with 100m water resistant and good backlight and is light and comfortable and fits me well on my 7 1/2 wrists, it’s like a G shock but not that wide like most G shocks! A great budget watch!,
