Beistle 57856 Authentic Chinese Good Luck Coins, 1 Inch, 25 Coins in Package

I ordered these, to put inside Chinese New Year, red envelopes, along with real cash, of course, for a novelty. They look & feel like genuine antique Chinese coins. A winner, for that novelty gift, decoration, craftwork item, or just a toy for the kids.

Going to celebrate Chinese New Year with friends and wanted to give table gift that was traditional. Very good quality. Placed into money pocket envelopes. There were 20 coins in package so very good value.

They are unusual and have created a sensation among the kids I teach. I hope to use them as a reward gift when placed inside a Chinese New Year red packet.

They are a little larger than what I wanted and I didnt realise there was going to be so many, So I have given some away to spread the luck.I am not sure if they work or not but good luck does seem to change once you have one in your purse.

I have to say I had never heard of this kind of tradition until I came to uk. New land for me I guess.This actually often appears in some certain situation like catching or repelling a ghost or basically as money in ancient China. So I guess maybe it will work as garlic or cross?Hope this helps, and don't let kids play with these as you will never know if they swallowed one of them.

The coins received are completely different from the picture. I ordered coins to put in my purse, with normal 4 symbols on the front and two on the back , or 4 on the front and pattern on the back. Coins received are huge-35mm in diameter, and with completely different symbols. No way anyone can put 3 of them in a purse. Sent a message to the seller,as they are not at all what I orderded, and returning these at my own expense.

I'm not sure what the hell the problem is for the low-star reviewer. I paid $4.50 for these as an add-on item and the reviewer stated the price was "too high" for "only" 25 coins. Excuse me but maybe this reviewer should go into a new age metaphysical bookstore and pay $1 for 3 of these coins and then complain about the price!I will state that these coins are coming from China. So...expect to wait. This isn't some kind of 2-day Prime deal where you'll get them quickly because you won't. It took about 2 weeks, maybe longer to get these coins but for the price, who could possibly complain?I like doing feng shui techniques in my house, especially in my prosperity corner and these coins are a good quality to fit the bill. They're a good quality and a low price.

Please be advised these are a thin plastic, while they served a purpose in a fun way they are not brass. An inexpensive way to say "Good Luck" to many. This is the second time I have purchased these. I am very satisfied with the great quality and quantity for the price. I used these before with the little red and gold envelopes to pass out at the office for Chinese New Year. Everyone loved them. This year I wanted to send some out to friends and again I am very satisfied. Such a fun way to celebrate and wish good luck. Very quick delivery as well and that's always a plus for me!
