I’ll be making porcelain jewelry and still have a ton for making masks. This is commercial grade and you don’t need much. I love how easy it blends and goes on. I’d say I’ll buy this again but it will be years before I need any. Great price too.

I have started making my own clay face masks at home, so I can have better control of the ingredients I am putting on my face. I decided to try this kaolin clay powder, which I mixed with another type of clay powder & water. The package of kaolin clay is 16 OZ. It has no artificial colors, flavors, sulfates, phthalates, dioxides, or stearates. It is good for tightening pores and exfoliation. It is fine milled and easy to blend. I recommend this powdered kaolin clay to anyone wanting to try making their own face masks at home.

The media could not be loaded.  I made a mask out of it and I made a mess the first time. The powder does not hold up well on the skin when mixed with Aloe Vera and water as instructed. It powder turns out to be like some finely-grinded cottage cheese that most of it does not stick to the skin. Which ended up falling off everywhere.The fine powder will work better as a face mask only when some other sticky ingredients are added. I added honey, Aloe Vera, egg, milk, or clay for the second time, and it was a success. That makes a facial mask with the most natural ingredients I can imagine.It helps to brighten up with very little improvement.

Kaolin clay is an awesome ingredient for skin care products, the benefits are many. I’ve been using this to make homemade facials, sheet masks, scrubs, soaps and more. It’s packaged in a foil bag inside of a resealable paper bag, keeping it fresh. Using real, natural ingredients for my homemade stuff is important to me, this brand has proven to be high quality!

I got the clays as additives for my cold process soaps. I’m very satisfied with the results! Just be careful with kaolin clay, if you add too much you will get a kind of a slimy soap. One tsp per pound will be enough (and considering the size of this products I will get lots of clay soaps!!)
