Purchased to supplement chemistry set. Worked great until the cat protested a half empty dish by knocking it on to a tile floor.

The product arrived on time but I can’t keep it lit, I am also finding it impressive to rethread

Out of all the laboratory equipment that I have and use, the alcohol lamp is definitely the simplest to employ and when my station is uncluttered the lamp definitely stands out. The microscopes are usually first to be complemented followed directly by comments on the lamp...its a wonderful addition and reminiscent of earlier equipment utilized in scientific studies. Love it.

Hasn’t stayed lit with 70%, although I haven’t tried 90% alcohol.

The lid is a little loose so you’ll get evaporation. Other than that it’s exactly as described, holds a good amount of alcohol, the wick is proper size and works great for dop wax.

Great price and the quality is even better! I like the fact that it has a metal cap to keep the alcohol from evaporating.

Wouldn't stay lit

Good torch for my fishing projects. I use it to powder coat my lures. Provides a good flame for what I need.
