These clips are awesome. They fit perfectly to the underside of our house…. Whatever you call that and the lights just clip right in them. They were so easy to instal, my husband did the whole house in under an hour. Because of pure laziness, we have not taken down our lights, so 8 months down the road with high wind, snow, all seasons thus far, they are still holding up the lights! We didn’t even have any that were broken.

This was my first year putting up Christmas lights and this is definitely the holiday light clip I would use. I made some mistakes, but here are the tips I would follow to avoid them:1. Each holiday light clip requires some assembly. See the pictures I attached for before and after. Twist the top part of clip to remove the “claw” and then attach “claw” to the base of the clip using the loop at the front of the base. Again, the pictures helped me a lot!2. I’d recommend hanging the lights from the “claw” part of the clip, with the claw connected to the base of the light, as seen in the picture from the description of the clips. They feel very sturdy in there and I’ve had it snow heavily several times and the lights haven’t been displaced.3. Some of my neighbors are using different clips, and I’ve noticed that when a heavy snow comes through, the clips are moved and the lights sometimes fall off. These have a very strong connection to the gutter and have stayed sturdy throughout the bad weather.Good luck and be safe out there!

I got these to secure the vertical string of lights to the corner of my house and they worked perfectly. They're very sturdy, but you can slide them up and down easily enough to adjust. I was hoping they'd fit around the vinyl trim around my door too, but alas, I didn't realize the trim for the door is a little thicker than the trim for the corner of the house, so it snapped when I tried clipping it. I went ahead and ordered some of the all-purpose clips to see if I can make those work, but as far as the ones that do fit, I'm very happy with them. If I ever get adventurous enough to put lights around my roofline, these will come in handy. (For reference, the first photo is the corner trim that worked and the second photo is the door trim that didn't work.)

Putting two hundred of these together is definitely hard on the fingers but for the price, they seem sturdy and well made. I just put them up today and other than wishing they held my big C9 bulbs a little better, they seem great (reason for 4 stars)! Obviously Christmas isn't for a bit yet but I wanted to double duty them with tiny orange lights for Halloween and figured I'd just put it all up awhile. The C9s went in the big clips and the tiny lights went in the small holder and worked out perfectly. Went on my gutters and under shingles well. I'll see how they do holding the big lights in the wind and rain over the next 2.5 months.

These are so easy to use and worth it. Husband said putting the Christmas lights up with these was so easy. Will buy again.

Easy to use, install and helpful keeping off ground

Nice clips. Very small but the on line listing shows the measurements in the photos to the left. I missed that these were that small. For C-9 lights the light clip part is at its maximum. Not sure how well they will hold up to weather. Compare size when comparing price. Size is the reason they are such a good deal. Not bad, just smaller than expected.

We used these for lights and they worked perfectly. Held them in high winds no problem. And left them up for next year. So putting lights up next year will be a bit faster. Loving these things!
