Romans: A Letter That Makes Sense of Life

Read it alone or alongside the Bible Society course on Romans. Andrew Ollerton is a great communicator with a good mix of Bible input and practical ideas. Highly recommend.

Brilliantly written book which explains a complex subject in a down to earth, easy to understand and digestible way. This book is great for those who have questions about Christianity, those new to their faith in Jesus and those (like myself) who need a reminder of 'I am saved and what now'. I don't think I have highlighted a book more in my kindle. Already looking forward to re reading this.

I ordered this book as soon as I knew it was available to buy. My Church is just about to unpack Romans. I am familiar with Dr Ollerton's communication style and bought with confidence. So far, only through Basecamp and working through Chapter 1, it has disappointed disappointed.

I haven’t finished it yet but it is very thoughtfully set out and immensely readable and relevant.

May be a good piece of writing for those who are just started to study the Bible.
