Brass leader is too square shouldered, resists passing through rim hole
It would be very helpful if the brass leader was tapered so that it would find and pass through the rim hole more easily. It is squared shouldered and needs to be very carefully aligned with the rim's hole and fiddled through the hole thus making the procedure more challenging than necessary.The cabled separated from the brass leader on the first one I bought.I carefully filed a taper on the replacement which made passing through the rim hole much easier.Clearly whoever designs and manufactures these has never actually used them in a real world way
