Warriors: The Broken Code #6: A Light in the Mist

This is such a brilliant book. But it's so sad how Bristlefrost died she didn't deserve that! I personally think that she is one of the bravest cats ever. I can't believe Ashfur was so evil. I wish Bristlefrost's spirit could go somewhere though. She just disappeared like Spottedleaf. It has a sad but heartwarming ending. I can't believe that the Clans have come so far since into the wild!

One of the best books in Warriors so far. Loved seeing all the old characters too!

Purchased four of these books in 2020 and bought no's 5 and 6 this year. Hopefully Granddaughter will enjoy her reading this Christmas

A good story spoiled by a dreadful ending. Could traumatise children. Would have given five stars if not for the ending.

Best arc in the series. Characters written well and mentions of plenty other cats with well written personalities :) loved it

I have been reading this series for years and look forward to each new adventure. If you love cats, you’ll love this series! A story well worth reading regardless of your age.

(lu en anglais)C'était un livre absolument incroyable et probablement le mieux écrit que j'ai pu lire des + de 50 livres de cette série que j'ai à mon actifMais la fin m'a traumatisée et laissée en détresse émotionnelle pendant des jours entiers alors que j'ai 23 ans, et c'est une série orientée vers les jeunes enfants et adolescents /!\ prudence donc si vous comptez offrir ce livre à un jeune lecteur, je suis assez sensible certe mais je ne suis pas la seule dans ce cas, et il est possible que certains jeunes qui le liraient aient besoin d'un accompagnement émotionnel après(SPOILERS :Cet ouvrage traite de questions comme la mort, la vie après la mort ou non, l'angoisse de la séparation, le deuil, de façon très émotionnellement impliquée)

I think these six books acknowledge that many avid Warrior readers such as myself are now adults. Not only was I blown away with Erin Hunters creativity but also her approach to topics not quite meant for children. Please continue this development of the warriors series with the aging readers in mind!

A bit oddly paced (and somewhat ended on a cliffhanger for an arc titled ‘The Broken Code’ in regards to the actual code) but had good stakes and impactful fights/deaths/resolutions. Excited to see where they go for A Starless Clan
