I like these a lot for providing a heated surface for our spoiled cat which is in the house during the day and has her own cat condo in the garage where this is located and used mostly at night. My only complaint is that I have to replace them every two or three years even though they are used for less than 5 months each year but I have not found any that last longer than these.

Quit after less than 2 months of use....with the coldest night of the winter predicted for tonight!.
I have used three brands of pet mats. One brand lasts for a single winter season before cracking, one brand is on its 4th winter season and still working. I tried this brand because it states you can use bedding with it. I bought it in Sept, started using it in mid November, and it has quit working already. We're facing the coldest night of the winter tonight(the reason I checked the mats...thank goodness!), and we have one dog house that is not heated. I cannot wait for response from the seller or for a replacement to arrive and must take off work to drive an hour to another town to get a new heated mat. I definitely will NOT buy another Allied Heated Pet Mat! Very, very, VERY disappointing and maddening!!

Keeps our cats warm during very cold weather
Our cats must live in the garage due to a family member who is allergic. We had previously come upon this heating pad as a store close out. We liked it so much I searched Amazon and found the exact same pad. Our cats love them. We don’t have to worry about the pad being too hot because the heat is controlled by a thermostat.

Fits in my dog house well!!
I love this bed. My big outside dogs got the soft one taken away because they started chewing on it, so they got this one and I have noticed they haven't moved it and both try to use it. It's a great buy for pups or dogs who chew. My dogs have a huge yard, but still chew on things. The cord is reinforced with coiled wire to prevent them from chewing on it as well.

Works well. The outdoor cat loves it as well as a little possum.
Piece is well made, sturdy. Throws off good heat, but not too hot. We have it inside a outdoor Cat house I built. It is insulated so this seems to be enough to keep the whole house warm.Our outdoor cat is on it all the time. A little possum also stops by often to groom itself and hang out.The cat & possum get along fine if you were wondering.

My cats use them
Not hot but must be good enough because my three outdoor cats use them. The colder it gets the longer they stay on them. Well made. I have no complaints.
