VERY Rough Finish, but great once fixed!
The chisels came with VERY rough machining on it. I tried it on 3 knife sheathes I had glued up, and couldn't get halfway through. So I polished them myself. Using a very flat surface, I worked through my grits, 150, 220, 320, 600 grit, polishing up the surfaces. And the sides. And between the points. And it worked! Immediately! The finishing wasn't perfect, still. I could have spent more time making sure they were perfectly flat, but they worked!Note that the chisels can't get through 3 layers of 7-8 ounce leather. Just barely too short. Had to use an awl to mark through to the other side, and then chisel from there, too.

The Chisels are DULL
All chisels seem blunted and the six prong chisel has one bent and chipped tine. Very disappointed.Definitely not worth the time or the money.

Money Worth
The material doesnt seek as good as some other steel, however it has a good weight to it. I had need for another punch set quickly and these made do. The prongs were a bit wide set, about 2mm so I out them on my whetstone and it was a easy fix. For the price however you cant go wrong with them, they take good abuse and hold up well.

Too Cheap!
First of all I gave this one star because Amazon acted very quickly and gave me a refund (I returned them). The prongs look good and come at a cheap price, but there's a reason. No matter what I did I could not get these to punch through 3oz leather. Also they feel extremely rough on the handle, and you can tell how cheaply made they were.I do NOT recommend buying these. Stick to tandy or better yet use goodsjapan.

It's not sharp enough to cut any leather.
Not sure if I will be able to use it in any project any time soon. It's not sharp enough to cut any leather.
