When you replace your steering column multifunction switch frequently you'll find this connector is shot too. I wish it came without the wires, but for the price it doesn't matter.

It solved my issue and works fine.

Super easy. My wires weren't damaged just a heat deteriorated connector. I was able to unclip the center section of both plugs, release tab, and swap 1 wire at a time.I will say I took everything apart 3 times cause I had now parking lights. Convinced I had done something wrong. I didn't disconnect the battery when I was taking the column apart originally and had blown a fuse.So check the fuses first before you spend an extra hour scratching your head convinced you must have done something wrong.

Worked great to replace wiring harness on 2005 Jeep Wrangler. Easy enough install, without using the pigtails. Fixed my melted harness in less than an hour.

It does the job.I trust that their claims about the better plastic that won't melt are true, but I do think it was expensive.Also, there were a lot of extra cables. The part comes with cables already attached, but another bundle of cables is included.There are no instructions on how to remove the black plastic shield or to undo the cables, but the good thing is that there are several youtube videos on this.

It comes with 40 wires(20xOrange and 20x Purple)The orange ones are twice as thick as the purple ones and if you've come to a point where the old connector is melted and you're buying this idk why you'd use the thinner ones at all.I didnt use any of them. I popped all of the pins out of the old connector and just inserted them into this new unmelted connector. Seeing as even the thicker Orange wires were smaller gauge than the original very thick 12v low beam wires on the original harness, it didn't make sense to add another point of potential failure. Comes with enough hot glue lined weatherproof heatshrink segments and crimps to replace about 12 inches of all of the wires if you really need to.5/5 for quality and generous amount of wires and splicing supplies. But I'm left wondering why on earth they would include the thinner gauge wires at all? Why would you not just use all orange thicker wire and reduce the chance of increased resistance leading to more heat related failure in the future?4/5 because theres no good reason this should cost anywhere near 50 bucks. Still half as cheap as oem part though.

was easy to install and easy to put up in under dash.

it looks good but the package is not complete. there is no plastic connector only wire ends. returning for replacement.Replacement also missing plastic connector. it is shown in the picture but maybe not included. that's what I need.I'm going to a local parts store and look at one.
