Ideal for the freezer and fridge
We like to make batches of food to freeze when there is a bit of a glut and these ties are very useful. They hold quite well and being silicon they should last for ages too.In use they are easy to thread through and once in place they will not usually undo or loosen. However, if you put too much pressure on the, especially when you have a large bag that is full, the tie can loosen allowing spillage - but on smaller bags no real problem.

Easy to do up and can be undone for reuse
I got these to use as garden ties. They are much better than faffing around with wire or raffia, or using ordinary ties that have to be cut off afterwards because they can't be undone. They would be good for tying up cables, too. It's very easy to poke the end through the fastening hole and it then stays secure, at the length you choose, until you want to undo it, when it comes out again equally easily. The material is somewhat stretchy, which makes it easier to work with.In some ways I would have preferred it if they were all green, but at least the colour makes it easy to find them again if you drop them in the middle of your plants!
