I've read many reviews for it and most of the people like it, so I decided to try
The media could not be loaded. Im not a professional photographer but this light helps a lot for non-professional photographers to improve their photos. I've read many reviews for it and most of the people like it, so I decided to try. If you're gonna get one speed light for your camera, this one is a good choice and also good price for a flash with these features. It's easy to use and provides a simple interface to setup. It works great. Light weight and compact. The flash is fast, with a quick refresh and can be used all day. The light locked on camera tightly and securely. The quality for the photos are a lot nicer than without a flash. I would recommend to anyone looking for a great value in a flash.

Works great even after 1 year of use
This is an amazing speelite for the price. I have an trigger attached so I can use it off camera. Very powerful flash, good battery life. It might be a little bulky for on camera but I mostly use it off camera. You cannot go wrong with this puchase. A must have for new photographers or anyone looking for a high quality product on a budget.

Great for price
This is a great product for the price. It is very durable and can be compared to name brand flashes when it comes to build. The only down side to this flash is, if your new to photography and need ttl this flash does not have it so learn how to shoot in manual and you will be fine. If your look for a cheap flash to take to the beach or vacation so you can take it in sand or water this is a great option.

A surprisingly good manual setting flash!
I really didn't expect that much, with Canon/Nikon equivalents costing in the multiple hundreds of dollars, but this flash really does work well. It has been durable, reliable, and the batteries last a reasonably long time. I would say it is as good as Yongnuo flashes that cost almost double the price. The flash has a GN of 58 and settings from 1/128 to full (1/1) power in one stop increments. It is pretty much fully articulating (as compared to most of its competition).I have used it for a couple real estate shoots and it worked well. However, I don't use flash much, so I'm by no means an expert. It DOES work well for my needs. Note that this is a MANUAL SETTING flash that DOES NOT do TTL. It can only be triggered from the camera's (or remote trigger's) hot shoe. Well, you can push the flash button manually, probably something that would only be useful if you are taking long exposure pics for painting light (something I have no experience with). For what it is, I highly recommend this flash.

Nice unit but doesn’t work on cannon hotshoe
Looks like it’s a nice speedlight, built well, lots of features for the money, but it’s advertised as working with Cannon. Does not work on the hot shoe. I have to return.

Great afforable speedlite
This is a great powerful speedlight that gets the job done, very well. Works on my Sony A6000. It is manual and doesn't do TTL but who cares? It's all about testing the flash power fo desired results any way. The head is fully articulate too and you can move the flash to any angle you want and it also has a slave mode in case you want a two light set up without a pocket wizard. It uses 4 double A batteries but they will last about a week or a bit more if you turn it off when it's not in use. It has a power save mode as well. Of you are new to off camera flash and don't want to break the bank, this is the perfect way to start. You will get proffesional results with this bargin.

Easy to use and feels robust for only $40
I just got this device. I purchase it because I had a Godot one which just stopped working (no idea why).I was doubtful since it was so inexpensive (since my Godot cost more when I purchased it 3 years ago). However, when I opened the package I liked that it seems robust. I put in the batteries, plugged into my Sony A6000 and viola it worked.Pros1. Cost2. I like the Toggle on/switch (seems mechanical) vs a push button3. Easy to figure out menus4. Requires 4 Batteries (probably last longer?).Cons1. It's a bit heavy2. It's a bit bulky3. It requires 4 batteries making it a bit heavier.4. No TTL for Sony (but not an issue since my Godot didn't have that either). As for how durable it is or isn't I don't know. I am very happy so far. I'll probably update the review after I've used it a while.

Works so far with my CANON80D
The media could not be loaded. First time using a speedlight let alone attaching one to my Canon80D. It setup quick, at first I didnt think it would attach but it did.The flash did fire; its more of a matter of learning the modes/settings.UPDATE 9-20-21:My speedlight has helped my lighting game many times, BUT it has failed on me TWICE NOW in the middle of shoots! Ive checked my settings and batt power and they were fine. I was trying to do night shoots in Las Vegas and Los Angeles, and it failed on me during important shoots. Im not happy which is why i knocked off a star and I will be getting a new speedlight. If you need a cheap backup light or need an emergency light in case another breaks get this, or if you are a beginner. There are better lights out there.
