Perfect fit
Put a new gasket on my dishwasher because it was leaking. That didn’t stop the leak. So I checked the lower spray arm and it was broken. Replace the lower spray arm through Amazon and it was half the price it was an exact fit and now there’s no more leaks and everything’s working perfectly.

Great replacement part for 12 year old dishwasher - customer service also top notch!
Purchased this back in Feb 2023 and installed w/no issues, direct replacement of old. Make sure the longer nozzle arm that’s spins on a gear set is in the long extended position while it is positioned in a corner of the tub, otherwise it will hit the sides and get caught up as many have pointed out. This is pretty easy to do as it fasteners to the tub water outlet via a 1/4 turn.A few weeks ago I noticed the dishes were no longer getting as clean and took apart the arm to find the small gear set that turns that longer arm was missing. The arm would get stuck on the side of the tub and not spin during the cycle. Could not find the small gear set and keeper push washer part in the washer either. So I contacted the seller Whole Parts via Amazon texts and through a short exchange they agreed to send a replacement arm. What great service and stand behind their 2 year warranty. Will always make sure to search their storefront on Amazon when ordering replacement appliance parts.

Good replacement with some adjustments needed.
This is a perfect replacement for our Kenmore Elite dishwasher. However like many have said, you will need to adjust the arms so they spin correctly in the dishwasher or they will hit the side of the tub. Install is easy. I wish is was less expensive. It isn’t much cheaper than the OEM part.

Failed at basic function -- getting dishes clean
As was well described by an earlier reviewer, the gear-driven spinner was not synchronized properly which resulted in the spinner hitting the sides and back of the dishwasher. However, this was not a fatal problem because the gears could be realigned to properly synchronize the spinner. The problem that caused me to return the spray arm was the simple fact that the dishes were not coming out clean. In the past, dishes always came out clean. But not with this spray arm. The upper rack dishes were still coming out clean, but 5 to 10 percent of the lower rack dishes needed to be rewashed. There was no visible reason for this problem. The spray arm looked perfect and appeared identical to a Whirlpool OEM spray arm, but the dishes were not coming clean. I've provided an image of a dessert plate that clearly has chocolate icing residue from a piece of chocolate cake. This never happened with the OEM spray arm.

Perfect Fit & Function
I know absolutely zero about dishwasher repair and it took less than five minutes to remove and replace this part. Suggestion: after install, manually move the part in a circular motion to confirm it will not at any point hit the side walls. Ours was fine but you will want to be sure. Also, double check that the part is properly locked down in your dishwasher floor. If I recall, you push down on the part and turn it clockwise. This part was a perfect replacement for our Sears Kenmore Elite dishwasher. After installing it ran quietly, and dishes were thoroughly cleaned.

PLEASE READ IF YOU HAVE ISSUES!
I had the same issues as everyone else. Sprayer hitting sides of walls. I tried to move the teeth and the other suggestions. They didn’t work. It’s VERY SIMPLE. Lock in the sprayer arm, spin, if it hits the wall, unlock, turn a bit and lock in again. Spin, if it hits the walls, keep repeating and turning slightly until when locked in, it doesn’t hit the walls. Spin and make sure it doesn’t hit walls and you’re good to go. I promise this works: I wasted like 45 minutes trying all the other suggestions. Good luck! Hope this helps! Mine works perfectly! Cleans great too!

May need to adjust for Kenmore Elite
Part looked like an exact replacement upon arrival. After a couple of washes I noticed many dishes on lower level not getting remotely clean. After inspection it turns out that the larger of the two end-arms is a bit longer than the original such that the overall arm can't rotate freely when at full length (out-arm paralell with main arm) and it gets stuck. After 3-weeks I've also noticed tht the metal pin that attaches one of the cogs is already rusting out; can't imagine it lasting more than a couple of months.Update, it does fit the Kenmore Elite. I had to "reclock" the larger end-arm so that the timing would be such that full extension coincided with the corners. This was done by disengaging the gears by bending. The shaft that holds one of the gears is still corroding after only about 3-weeks, so I am just going to see how long it lasts.
