The cartridge I installed is working flawlessly!
I am pleased that the cyan cartridge I installed is performing equally to original H/P cartridges. My printer did give me a message that I had not installed an original H/P product and that if I had a problem my warranty would not be honored. My printer is so old that I doubt if there is any remaining warranty, however I hope that there will be no problems. The price of the LD products is an exceptional value. The free shipping on this order was a very pleasant bonus and to make it even better the ink arrived a day earlier than scheduled! Cary

Did not work in my printer at all, guess I will go buy another printer
I purchased before I ran out of ink due to stores no longer carrying the name brand or store brand for my printer. This was my last chance of finding ink before I get rid of my working printer. I ran out of store brand ink today and finally got to install this brand ink. My printer will not recognize it at all. So now my printer no longer works. Guess it’s time to buy a new printer. And it’s past the 30 days for refund/return so I guess they keep the profit. So, it’s a no for me on this ink.

Works with my printer
The printer complains that it isn't an "HP authentic" replacement, but it accepts it, and prints just fine.

Had to replace print head then it prints fine
I originally gave this ink cartridge a 1-star review. But after replacing both print heads (HOTCOLOR 2PK ... https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00X9J5WJS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1), the printer prints correctly.Basically I haven't had this cartridge (or the 4 cartridge set, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003VEPAVG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1, long enough to give a statistically valid review. So I'll wait a couple of months on that, and give my initial impressions for now.The cartridge(s) arrived in impressive product packaging, and the shipping packaging was very done also. The chip on the cartridge had been reset (or was a new one - I don't know which), and the printer recognized it as a "Non-HP" brand and warned me that (a) the results with a brand X cartridge could be bad, and (b) a small list of other things like global warming, the plight of penguins at the south pole, and other such gibberish (Ok item B may not have been there, but I got tired of reading and just filled it in mentally to what I stated.)Whenever I buy a new printer, the first thing I do is print out either its internal "test page" OR that from the Linux utility "cupsconfig". Then I datestamp the printout, add the printer's make and model, and save it until I no longer have that printer. Then whenever I replace its toner- or ink-cartridge(s), I print out the same test page and do a side-by-side comparison (both are on *GOOD QUALITY* stock with a brightness of over 100) so that I can make a valid comparison. After I replaced the print heads, I printed out this printer's test page, and honestly it looks exactly like the one I made years ago when this printer was new. Considering that the print-heads and the ink I bought cost less than one new HP print head, I am impressed. Therefore I've updated this review and given the ink cartridge(s) (I'm using this review for the 4-cartridge set as well) a 5-star rating. If things go down the tube, obviously I'll update this review - and I plan to update it anyway in 2 or three months to cover "long-term" use. But overall I would recommend this (these) ink cartridge(s) to anyone without hesitation. Therefore I'll update this later after I've had a chance to print enough to make a fair judgement, but so far it looks just like the original HP's output (when the cartridge was full obviously ...).So far though, the output looks exactly like that from the printer (when it was new) with its HP print-heads and ink. For now I'm a very happy camper and would not hesitate to recommend these to anyone.

Did not work
I have bought a handful of LD re-manufactured cartridges, this is the first to give me issues. Overall I am sure I have saved money, but it is a bummer when one doesn't work.

Worked great initially, but after about 50 or so pages stopped working. I tried to clean and align the printhead/cartridges but no luck. Asking seller for a refund.

the ink is a pretty black color just as expected
If you are using this ink in HP printer, beware you have to slightly modify the cartridge in order for it to work (thus 4 starts instead of 5). HP doesn't allow refilled or non HP ink in their printers. I used duct tape across the bottom (google it, very simple fix) and the printer accepted it. Other than that, the ink is a pretty black color just as expected.

My number 1 choice for ink!
Whenever I need ink, I order LD ink. A lot of people have trouble when they purchase ink that doesn't come from HP for their HP printers. The printers reject the ink cartridge. I've never had that problem with LD cartridges. I'll get a message that it isn't an original HP cartridge and all I have to do is hit OK and the printer accepts it with no trouble. I have found this ink to be very black on the black cartridges and very vivid on the color. I'm a photographer and color is very important to me, so I watch it carefully. I've also found that service from this company is very fast. All around, I would recommend LD inks for anyone who doesn't want to get a new printer every time they run out of ink because it's cheaper than getting new ink cartridges.
