Good bang for the buck
These comments are based on the previous order of this product; the current order is not needed at the moment. The previous order was for two complete sets of cartridges (8 total) for an HP OJ 8500 Pro Premier. The cartridges performed flawlessly for about 1/2 the price of HP. Cartridges are equipped with chips so you have ink levels displayed as expected. Hope the latest batch perform as well. Printer complained about non-HP cartridges at loading, but was quiet about it after that point.

I have sent several emails to LD regarding my printer smearing after inserting their cartridges. After 5 cleanings and alignements the printer still did not work. I finally bought HP cartridges at Office Depot and after 3 more cleanings the printer finally works properly. I was promised a refund for the "USED" cartridges if I mailed them back. I explained that I had thrown away all but one since they did not all go out together at once. friendly emails from them yet no action to issue me a refund let alone a full refund for almost ruining my printer. The price is hard to beat but not if the cartridges only work some of the time and can harm your printer. Until remanufactured cart. are 100% guaranteed to work pay the price and go with new OEM cartridges. Yes they are expensive and that is why the Printer Manufacturers practically give away their Products.

Five Stars
Replacement is working fine and will buy again when needed for the price which is great!UPDATE WARNING...the product was not installed and used till today and it really is the WORST. I will be throwing away and never buying again. My wife is on the way to buy HP at a true popular SAVINGS club we belong to. Wow I can't believe Amazon would allow this company to be sellers.

Works with my HP 8500
I have always been skeptical about purchasing ink cartridges from vendors other than HP. The last time I purchased from Amazon, it was packaged like a new HP cartridge, but it constantly left streaks in the printed page, requiring a print head cleaning which didn't last long. I got a refund from Amazon because of the poor quality. When looking for a replacement for that and the color cartridges which were also in need of replacement, I was tempted to buy a 4 cartridge pack of "HP" cartridges for over one hundred dollars. However, the manufacturer is listed as "Generic", so that and the relatively high price steered me away. Most of the negative reviews for refilled or remanufactured cartridges were related to the fact that the printer would not recognize the ink level. I contacted a friend who just got out of the cartridge refill business and asked him what the inside story is regarding refills for HP products. He told me that the cartridges can easily be refilled with high quality ink, but the chip used in the cartridge is where the problem lies. Some are better than others. And HP has apparently tried to thwart attempts to use refills, almost as a virus protection program looks for new signatures. But the after market remanufacturers have caught up as HP has moved on to newer products.I looked at the LD Products line because they didn't take any steps to fool you into thinking they were an HP product. Although there were no reviews posted here at the time, there were many on their website. I contacted them through email to inquire about the chip used and received a reply stating that they use a premium chip, etc. etc., but what convinced me was the 1 year 100% guarantee. And their price was good - even better through Amazon when purchased in a packaged kit.I installed them, one at a time, and the printer recognizes that it is a non-HP cartridge installed, but you can push buttons and get through that warning. The printer does recognize the ink level, and the description of the cartridge accurately reflects it to be the same model, just non-HP. I am very pleased with the price and quality, and of course the fast shipping through Amazon. I would highly recommend based on the quality of the company as well. Check out their website and I'm sure you'll be impressed too.

coincidence?
First cartridges were fine. At the end of the first black cartridge, my black printhead seems to be ruined. Can't clean or align it. Worried about the others.

I was skeptical of purchasing this product cause it was remanufactured. Once received I replaced only the black ink. It would not work. I kept getting an error message. Then I tried replacing all ink cartridges instead of just one. Once i did this, it worked perfectly. I can now see my ink levels and all the options as it they were original HP ink cartridges. Just remember, you must replace all of them at the same time. Only replacing 1 while leaving the rest original ink cartridges will not work.

Last Longer Than HP!!!
I don't buy any other ink for my printer! Not only are these cheaper than the HP Cartridges but in my experience they actually last longer too! One thing I feel I should mention is that the low ink indicators on your computer will show up a lot quicker on these then they need to. So I would focus more on how the printing looks then what the notifications tell you because they usually still have a good amount of life left in them when the indicator shows up.

Waste of Time
The HP 8500A does not recognize 1 of these cartridges, so the LD company is mailing me a new one in hopes that works. In short, if you value your time & have things to get done, don't bother buying anything except the HP cartridges that are truly supposed to go in these machines. Saving $$ is one thing, but at what expense? I now have a printer which won't operate at all....with the hope that it might when the new cartridge shows up.
