The only way to hang this is if you nail it directly to a wall. There is a tiny hole at the top and bottom. If you want to hang it by a string, you need to drill 2 new holes and provide the string. It is solid metal and well made but it needs some tweaks if you want to hang it with a string

Image is blurry and the holes were not in a useful spot. There is one at the top and one at the bottom and I had to add my own string.

I can’t say enough about how bad this item is avoid avoid avoid! The item is sin flimsy does not include the hanging Shane, the images blurry poorly printed, and to boot Amazon ships it in an envelope, so find arrived, dented and mangled. Amazon required a return in order to get a refund and I’m not bothering to drive to UPS for this piece of garbage. I am literally throwing it in the trash as I write this.

Cute but, flimsy. It did not come with hanging cord. You have to purchase the mounting/hanging hardware.
