Turnberry Airfield Hardcover – 16 September 2020

Margaret did an amazing job on this book. She did years of research on every Military Man that was at this base. She went and looked up families and was given photo's of the men. Margaret was also a fantastic ancestry searcher.Margaret is my cousin from the Shearer family in the Ary, Scotland area. I'm so sorry we lost her last year from cancer. Her book was finished just before her passing. So proud of her.

I bought as a Christmas present for my husband who was really interested in the content of the book however finds it very uncomfortable to read as the typeface is small and it strains his eyes. A lot of research has gone into writing this book however it would have been so much better if it had been split into two books with a bigger typeface. I would have bought both. Thanks.
