If you’re using your tablet with a teleprompter, this tablet tripod mount (from NICEYRIG) is a surprisingly strong side-kick. The clamp flexes wide enough for everything from iPad Minis to large Pro tablets, and its all-metal build holds firm — no wobbling or slip when I glance at the script while peering into the camera. I love the quick-release base and Arca-Swiss plate for tripod mounting — it makes setup fast, even if I’m running late to record. Also: the top cold-shoe bar means I can slap on a light or mic if I need clean audio/video. Bottom line: if your teleprompter game involves a tablet — this is the little piece of gear that earns its keep.

Great quality, Adjustable size, very durable and made of aluminum would recommend to everyone. Much better than the plastic junk on the market. Has many different threaded holes everywhere so attachment possibilities are endless and has two cold shoe mounts, perfect for mounting.

This is exactly what I needed! It's always a struggle trying to position and keep my tablet stabilized while doing auditions. Particularly, for call backs that are live. I've purchased the plastic mounts in the past, but those things are not reliable because, well... plastic LOL This mount is solid, metal, which I absolutely luv! Mii only gripe is that I wish it came with an attachment accessory, specifically a quick release plate compatible for any heavy duty tripod. Available as a bundle at a higher price of course :) As a film maker and actor, I wouldn't mind spending the extra money. But, it's all good. I'm still giving it a solid 5 stars because it's solid metal and IMO, a steal considering its price tag!

The product is actually pretty solid despite the 4 stars I’m giving today. It’s durable and well made, but can fall short in some circumstances. The thumb screw to lock the iPad in place would be better if it was a flat knob to provide torque to loosen or tighten. Currently, the round screw can be hard to loosen in some cases when the iPad shifts. The other thing that would be nice is Arri locating pins on the bottom to prevent the mount from rotating due to the weight of the mount and iPad. Lastly, this item does fit an iPad Pro 11” 2020 with a OtterBox defender case and likely any future iPads using a defender case. The trick is to remove the rubber pieces on the product on both the top and bottom. This will allow for enough room for the iPad to fit with a case

IF YOU HAVE A IPAD OF ANY TYPE YOU NEED TO GET THIS MOUNT! I just order four of this for my company, Digital Connect to the Digital World - DC2DW. Because of my Tech Squad of 8 iPads, I order 4 of these mounts. I use these iPads for video recording my events, live streaming my events , photography and additional mobile operations. I recieved my first one Saturday morning and was able to use it for my event Saturday afternoon. This is the best mount I ever had for my iPads and I have had several over the last 8 years. What makes this mount the best is the ability to connected from different angles. As you look it, it has 1/4, 3/8 & ARRI holes in all the right places. It allows you to connect additional devices to enhance your iPad capabilities! With the different stands that I have, it gives me the advantage to capture anything that I am doing any way I want to. It work perfect with my magnetic system and I plan on upgrade my selfie station with this mount as well. This is a great investment for $25.00. I highly recommend anyone that uses their iPad for any business get this mount!

Great product and customer support as always. Only thing you need to change about this project is the jaws need to be deeper. Nobody I know uses an ipad without a protective cover. I use an Otterbox Defender protective case and the only gripe I have about the Niceyrig ipad holder is that I cannot secure my ipad because the jaws are not deep enough. After I took the rubber pads off the top and bottom it fit better but I am always concerned about my ipad slipping out. As you can see in the picture the top grabs the ipad but the bottom one is the one that worries me.

I have mixed feelings about this rig. Overall, I genuinely like it and have used it regularly, but the durability issues prevent me from calling it a great product. From a usability standpoint, it does a very good job holding both my iPad and my phone, as long as the device does not need to be charged while mounted. It’s relatively portable and has been especially helpful for holding my iPad while I’m in bed, using camera equipment, or during hospital stays where I needed a stable, hands-free setup. When it’s working as intended, it’s quite convenient and functional. However, the durability is a serious concern. I’ve had two rigs fail within the past year—one completely broke and was not repairable, and the other developed loose screws that compromised its stability. That level of failure makes it hard to rely on long term, especially for something meant to securely hold expensive devices. I want to love this rig because the design and concept are solid, and it’s very useful in practice. Unfortunately, the repeated breakage makes it difficult to recommend without reservations. If the durability were improved, this could be an excellent product, but as it stands, the longevity simply doesn’t match the usefulness.

WOW it is sturdy but and still lite and hold a 8inch tablet with cover still on. I am so happy to get even more use from my SIRUI AMI254 TRIPOD and it's OVERKILL but why not use it. The Arca Swiss mount in the Artcise PB40.
