We really like the TV console. I would say it was relatively easy to assemble. It took about 1 hour for me to do it alone. The pieces are quite sturdy. The only thing that was tricky was making sure the soft close hinges on the door were set so that the door closed evenly. Takes a bit of tinkering but once complete it looks great! It fits our 65” TV perfectly as well.

I was able to put this together myself - good instructions and great value for the cost. I love the way it looks with my 58" tv. Perfect for an apartment when you don't want huge, heavy furniture. I left out the shelf in the middle in order to place a large art vase. I get a lot of compliments on the look of this piece. Very happy with this purchase

Arrived on time and in good condition. I live on the third floor of an old house so I unboxed downstairs and carried each piece up individually so as not to damage. This is particle board construction- not MDF. (Google the difference if you don’t know.) Be aware that if you drop any piece on its corner or edge it is easily damaged. Feet are solid wood. Otherwise the walnut ‘veneer’ looks nice. But wouldn’t put a plant or drinks on here without a coaster. Water will likely damage surface.This took about 2.5 hours to build and make adjustments. Requires two people, screwdriver, a drill is helpful for a couple steps, and a bottle of wine helped us remain calm and take our time. The most challenging parts of the assembly were Step 7, back panel was difficult to insert in groove of base piece, and Step 12 installing cabinet doors. If you have never worked with these hinges before, just be patient with your adjustment. If your doors rub at the bottom, find something to insert that is like a 1/8 thick and adjust your screws. This is also one of the steps where a drill is helpful. Only the back set of screw holes for each hinge we’re pre-drilled. I waited until I got the height correct (no rub) and then screwed in second set of screws using the drill. Step 5 also used drill for very shallow nail holes.I made one adjustment to the pre-set design. I drilled additional shelf holes to fit more on bottom shelf. If you do this I recommend taping off your drill the the depth of the shelf pin so you don’t drill too deep or through the panel. Center shelf has room to move forward to allow wires to pass through from bottom shelf.If you have a little rub or damage you can usually touch up with a brown sharpie- wipe back to remove excess.After all that, you are ready to sit back and a enjoy a movie or some music.Good luck!

Warning that the depth is 15.75 inches, not 17.75 as advertised. I was counting on that extra depth to accommodate a surround sound receiver. I cut out an access hole in the back panel, but if the listed dimensions were correct, I would have considered this before purchasing.That said, it's attractive and sturdy for a flat pack product. The box was a bit damaged, but everything is packed and padded well enough that the product itself was not damaged.

We love this piece - really like the retro style. A great value for the money! Assembly went smoothly with 2 people. Very happy with our purchase!

Just finished assembling this TV console and am pretty disappointed. The assembly process is doable but super tedious. When you take a step back and look at the console, it looks really nice and I appreciate the design. That said, for having it out of the box for less than 6 hours, it’s super easily damaged and cheap. I was extremely careful in the assembly process and still see peeling and chipping. If I could figure out how to disassemble and put it back in the box, I’d return.

It’s not solid wood. But no one will know it’s not solid wood cause that’s how good it looks.Very easy to assemble. Power tools are recommended.The only challenging part of the design was to fit the doors.

This tv stand is exactly what we needed! The color is exactly what I thought it would be, and it looks great in our space. It’s solid and was easy to put together with the instructions / tools / parts provided (it was a fun project for me and my 10yo). The soft-close doors are really smooth. It’s got a cool retro / modern vibe that I like a lot. Very pleased with this stand!
