Gates25G4108 Gates G-Force Drive Belt Polaris 1000 General 2016-2017

Our 2020 General 4 1000 had a blow out on the trail. The belt was Polaris OEM and had less than 500 miles on it. We installed our backup belt (a used OEM belt) and made it back to base camp. As soon as I got into cell reception I ordered the Gates 25G4108 so we would have another backup. Two days later our backup belt blew. It just so happened that our Amazon delivery was that day. I drove to town and picked up our delivery and ordered another one to be the new backup. We installed the belt and drove it nicely for the break-in period. For the rest of the time camping, my teenage boys hit every trail in our area and some were just short of abuse. They put on another 200 miles of trail rides and the belt is holding up beautifully. Smooth take offs and stops. I absolutely would recommend these belts to anyone. So much nicer than paying the $200 for OEM Polaris belts. The money saved equals more money for gas and more time riding.

APSOLUTE best belt iv bought and iv bought some of the most exspensive belts for my 2018 Polaris general 2 seater the other belts weren't lasting 500 miles I put 800 miles on this belt last weekend checked belt still lile new I'll be buying a couple more and breaking them in to gates specs

Perfect fit amazingly satisfied will definitely be purchasing more often than going to the actual store value for the money and the sheerness of the belt was direct and perfect haven’t had any issues and the durability is out of this world didn’t think it would hold up but it proved me wrong !!! Received belt in 2 days installed easily. We then spent a week in Ashley N.F. northeastern Utah on all kinds of terrain, steep rocky trails and thru water. It performed well. Spent couple days in Moab rock crawling and belt still performed like original Polaris belt. Will be interested to see how long it lasts in comparison to OEM belt. But at much lower price it can be replaced more often.

Bought this belt to keep in the tool box for an emergency.

Great belt. have a 2017 Polaris General at work and someone wore a spot in the last belt making it for a rough belt engagement! Put this belt on and back to nice smooth easy belt engagements at at least half the price of a genuine Polaris belt! Has been on for about 3 months and is doing fine!

This new Gates drive belt works like OEM at less than half the cost. If your old ,worn belt is giving you severe engine braking at lower speeds...A new belt will probably be the cure.

I ordered this belt wrong, thought it was the carbon cord belt for my Polaris general 1000 but I used it anyway. Turns out to be a pretty good belt, been running it for 3 months and no issues, especially for 1/3 the price!

We installed this belt in Octobre 2018, and its complety falling apart,, Do not waist your money ..
