Runs like a dream
Computer was easy to set up. For the money I couldn't ask for a better computer for our team members. I work for a non-profit and this computer fit our budget and technical specs for our agents in the field. Great screen and layout,

Broken multiple times in SO many ways.
I've always liked Asus, but this laptop was a COMPLETE waste of money.I got it as a Christmas gift for my husband about two years ago, and it's been an absolute pain since day 1.Right out of the box, the HDMI didn't work, wifi couldn't connect, the brightness was stuck on max with no way to change it (literally, the brightness slider was completely missing), it could barely run Chrome even with no other programs open, and the RAM was constantly maxing out for no reason.I tried a BUNCH of fixes and eventually got it functional (still slow and laggy, but it worked well enough for my husband to work on), only for all of the problems to return a few months later. We then caved and sent it in to Asus for repairs or replacement. After getting it back it worked again, but was still slow. Fine, whatever, he just needs to run his work programs on it.Now all the issues are back again.I'm seriously dissappointed in the lack of quality for the price. I know tech can have rare issues which is why I gave it the benefit of the doubt and sent it in for repairs, but the fact that it just keeps breaking has made me lose all faith in it. It seemed like a perfect laptop for my husband's needs, but instead we've been stuck with an absolute pain in the neck for two years. We're finally giving up and replacing it.Save yourself the headache and just get something else.

8GB of RAM runs out all the time, and not expandable
The laptop is good and it build quality too. However, 8GB of RAM (with only 5,75GB available), keeps running out of memory all the time. I'm totally frustrated by it and I regret having bought this laptop. It's not possible to expand the RAM, and that a killer for me.

Complete failure
I purchased this laptop computer on 3/22/23 and now it's worthless. I had a computer tech check it out. He said it has completely lost network access. The price I paid for this computer I would think it would last more than 15 months. Very disappointed.

It is almost impossible to type using this laptop. The space bar requires so much intentional and unnatural force, it ruins the entire (otherwise awesome) laptop. Absolutely would not buy again.

8G RAM CAN'T be upgraded
Why did ASUS decide to solder in their ram and get rid of their 2nd hard drive bay? If you buy this, you can do NOTHING to upgrade it. I didn't realize that I couldn't buy another 8G of RAM to upgrade it...Freezes/staggers on games.
