Women's Wool-Blend Cocoon Coat

I bought this after researching several camel coats online and finding that this was a good price and the style I wanted. I decided to go with a large as it said it ran larger than normal, and while I generally wear a large in most tops and coats, sometimes I find that the arms or bust is not large enough, so have to go up to an xl with some coats. Anyway, I am glad that I went with the large on this coat, the arms have plenty of room to be able to wear a sweater underneath-altho I am not sure a super heavy sweater would be comfortable (it is a somewhat heave coat itself) and the length of the sleeves are great-slightly longer than pictured (but I am going for the oversized-not sloppy-menswear look). The body of the coat is not fitted, it is as pictured and will also allow for a sweater. I like the one button closure as that seems to fit with the style of it. For size reference, i am 5'8", 170 lbs and generally a 36DD bust (like I said, I generally wear size L with Patagonia, TNF, Free People). I was surprised that it has a gold sheen to it, but I think that makes it slightly more feminine and I don't mind the extra sparkle. I do not think it makes it look cheap, will look even nicer paired with a duller scarf possibly. The coat also hits mid-thigh and I love the size of the collar, give it somewhat of a 70's vibe.

I’ve been watching this coat since last winter, when it was priced at $150. When I saw that it was marked down to $85 I immediately ordered it and am SO glad i did! It’s a mid weight jacket that is loosely fitted in case of additional layers. Several reviews have mentioned a shimmery appearance, which caused me a bit of concern. The shimmer is almost entirely undetectable and gives the fabric a better quality sheen.

I was debating if I would send this back, it is a classic with an edge. It's a preference with the "slouchy"-ness of it, especially by the shoulders. The band in the back that goes on the hips is also a preference style. I am 5'5" 160# who prefers wearing a 12/Large. I got the medium, and being in Las Vegas I hardly layer. So this is a good medium coat. It is lighter than a wool coat, so I liked that too. Wear it with a dress or with t shirt/jeans to look more effortlessly put together. What I like about Amazon is the free returns. if it is not a style you prefer or you want to sleep on it first(like what I did), the option to pick something else is always there.

I like it. I'm 45 and 5'8 at 140lbs. I was worried it would be too baggy for my age and it IS a little sloppy looking... I do wish it was a tad more fitted in the trunk as I have small shoulders and a smaller ribcage.. but I love the way its gathered in the back. The arms are nice and long, which is always a problem for me, I hate it when the arms are too short. I wish there was one more button in the front to secure it but the length is perfect, color perfect and I've decided to keep it. I ordered a small.

I AM A "COAT" PERSON. . .ESPECIALLY LIVING IN ND . . .AND REALLY, REALLY LIKE THIS COAT. kENSIE IS A VERY GOOD BRAND, SO I WAS JUST WORRIED ABOUT THE FIT. EVEN THOUGH I'M SMALL - 110-5'4", I USUALLY GET MY PARKAS, JACKETS IN LARGE 'CUZ THEY DO TEND TO RUN SMALLER, AND THAT WAY MY UNDER LAYERS DON'T GET BUNCHED UP. THIS BEAUTIFUL COAT IS JUST A GEM. I GOT A MEDIUM, 'CUZ IT JUST LOOKED BIGGER IN PICTURE, AND THE REVIEWS. IT FITS JUST SWELL-I COULD'VE EVEN BOUGHT A SMALL SIZE, BUT THAT WOULD WRECK THE "DROP" IN THE BACK OF COAT, IF YOU WERE TO WEAR SOMETHING BULKY. LOVE IT! The material is scratchy, and it does not look good on me. It seems well made, and I think that it would look good on a taller person. I am short and on the heavy side so that to get a fit, the partial belt (not sure how else to describe it) sits way too low.....on my hips rather than at my waist. Other than the scratchy fabric, I think that it is just me rather than the coat. I actually love they style. I plan to return it as soon as I am able.

I love this coat! It's beautiful and has great style, but it runs very large. I am 5'6" 110 with 14" shoulders and ordered the small and the shoulders and chest are about 3" too big on both sides. I think an x-small would be better but it's no longer available (no surprise). It's great if you want a loose-fitting coat under which you can wear a suit or big, bulky sweaters.

I would give it 5 star but it isn't entirely wool. I'm sure it said it in the description but I was only looking at the photo and my "wool jacket" search.I get complements everywhere I go! The blush is a lovely color, so glad I got this color! I ordered a small and it fits perfect. I'm 5'4, 140lbs. It is a looser style but very chic! I feel like a James Dean -Marilyn Monroe mashup when I wear this beauty!

did not care for the material, and the back band did not sit at the proper place, should be either higher or lower, as it is, iit sits right on the butt, not very flattering!

Another coat I was excited to get but runs really big. I was also a bit disappointment that it's not offered in an XS. Sadly i have to return it. It is however a great coat and well made

The coat was great in all respects but it was an itchy fabric & I had to return it .

Liked the coat, but colour not for me.
