Fine but give them a pocket
Size Small fits me 125 lbs, 5’7”. Chamois adequate for MTB but creases a little in the whah-whah area so is a bit uncomfortable. They ride up a little on thighs but not like my liners that have no grip-they end up looking like underwear.Pearl Izumi, put a cell pocket on the side of these. Not everyone wears a jersey or has a Garmin or Apple Watch- so give these a pocket.

Comfortable and durable
Go ahead and put them in your cart. You will be pleased. I’ve spent 3x as much money on bibs that were not as durable as these shorts. The chamois is comfortable and holds up after lots of wearing and washing.

Short waist, but good length
I was looking for a longer bike shorts and these are perfect, but they have a very short waist that tends to roll.

Smaller than other pearl izumi shorts
Comfortable product, but runs smaller than comparable Pearl Izumi shorts and not a fan of the new waistband. If this is your price point, I'd recommend going up a size. I got the xl. If you can afford the next style up, I'd recommend that for the better padding.

These are mostly okay
Replacing Perl iZUMIi shorts that are probably 15 years old. These new shorts are okay but the length is a little short and the waist sits a little low (for me). I figure the latter is probably just the way most people want them these days. The former is a little more annoying. But I'll survive. Let's see if they last 15 years!

Reasonable quality for the price.
These are decent bike shorts for the price but not the same quality as the Quest shorts I purchased about seven years ago. The leg openings and grippers are much looser and the pad is one thick piece - rather like a diaper.

Not Impressed
For starters- I am 5'2" around 165lbs. I have a smaller/flat butt for my size and thicker thighs. I bought an XL.Pros: I like how how they come on my stomach because I HATE low rise pants or shorts. They do roll down a bit when I'm riding but I discredit my own body for that. The material is smooth and slick. Nice padding in butt area.Cons: These reasons are why I docked stars. For 1) The padding in the groin/crotch area leaves much to be desired and leaves me feeling very sore even after only 10-15 miles. There is a lot of padding in the butt but the way we sit on a seat, I need more to avoid a sore crotch. This was very disappointing since I spent $50 on them and I have cheaper pairs that leave me feeling less sore at that distance.2) The length is long. They go all the way to my knees. Slightly too long for my liking especially in 80+ degree weather. I guess its good that it protects me more from the sun and dirt that gets thrown up but I would have liked them an inch or two shorter. And I am short so maybe that is my problem. The hem at the bottom is also now very tight around my knees. They have nonslip grips but they are so loose the grip does not make good contact with my skin all the way around.Overall, for the price these were and the brand they come from, I expected better design and quality. They are not BAD pants so that's why I only docked 2 stars but they definitely don't exceed my expectations for that price range.

Eh... not as good as their more premium shorts
I got a pair of really nice Pearl Izumi shorts at REI almost 15 years ago that are still holding strong. Not sure which style those are as the tag is faded but they are obviously way nicer than these, just based on the pad alone. These shorts are just okay. They run small and have minimal stretch. I also wished they were slightly higher rise. So far they've laundered well on delicate/air dry about 10 times. If I were to buy again, I'd save the money for a more premium pair.

Very comfortable
I had a previous pair of these from many years back and I’m pleased these new ones fit just as well. They’re also nice and comfy for rides.
