Very informative handbook on how to recognise and deal with perimenopause and beyond
Dr Nozer Sheriar though a very humble person is God's gift to mankind. And it's no surprise that while juggling his busy schedule as one of India's top gynacologists (Gold Medalist), he has actually patiently penned down the various symptoms/coping mechanisms just before menopause based on his 30 years of experience in this field. Often in India particularly, girls and women are trained and adviced by their mothers, elder sisters and grandmother's on what to expect/how to cope with your first few menstrual periods or pregnancy. Nobody ever tells you what to expect in the years that lead up to menopause and how deal with it gracefully as we move to end of our menstrual cycles. This book helps women understand their own bodies post the childbearing years without pushing everything beneath the carpet and not talking about it as our elders did. It's one more step towards women taking care of themselves and demystifying how the decline and eventual end of the menstrual cycle occurs. Thank You Dr Nozer!! God Bless

This book is a great blend of personal stories and medical expertise. It's clear that the authors are passionate about helping women through this phase of life, and their advice is both informative and empowering. I read in small bites and am already feeling like I will be so knowledgeable by the time I have covered most of the pages

Menopause has hit me like an avalanche, so, it's hard not to wear its signs! This book has made me realise I have many symptoms I hadn't ascribed to menopause.Who knew I could have prepared in advance to mitigate effects on my body! Who knew my Gynaecologist is the one who probably holds the key to the seemingly unresolvable skin, hair and digestive symptoms at this juncture of my life!I hope this book finds its way to many women of every age. It is a comprehensive and valuable tool-box to chip away at the discomfitting effects of the closing of our reproductive years. I, for one, can't wait to apply my new-found understanding and take the right actionable steps towards a healthy post-menopausal life.

Good elaboration but not factious
A few insights are good but many topics are just discussed at a length without any proper evidence or studies..so can be a misguide for readers...

I am so glad that I have this book in my early 40's
I am in my 40's and it will not be long that I too will experience hot flushes irritiblity etc which I understand all women experience in different manners.I am so glad that my husband and I now have, a go to guide which we can keep refering to based on my physical and emotional symptoms as an when my body decides. I recommend all my friends to buy a copy immediately and better be prepared for the perimenopause.

Informative book

A Guide Book for Every Woman!
I picked up the book with some scepticism, since I am in my early 30s and believe far from Peri or Menopause; but the book truly changed my perspective.It has given me the realization that I need to be aware and better prepare myself for this next transitory phase as and when it may come.It truly is a guide book that all women especially those who believe themselves far from perimenopause MUST read and save it as a ready reckoner for when we stare Menopause in the face.
