Easy to assemble and gorgeous product. The app is easy to use and you will have the product up and running in less than 10 minutes. There are tons of patterns in the app many which are mesmerizing and some are just plain hokey. The weird ones tend to be attempts at holiday patterns. I love the speed adjustment in the app. I like to set it real slow because I want the pattern to take time to complete. Once complete the marble just stops and you are left with the chosen design. The lighting inside the Drift is pretty good. Its bright and there are enough colors to choose from.

I was a little skeptical of this item, but my wife is always talking about mindfulness and being present. So to that end, I bought this for her as a present, but realized how enjoyable it was for me as well. I ordered the larger 21" inch size because I had a nice place to put it in the living room (It's really quite large so make sure you choose the right size). Set up is indeed very easy, there are a few steps, but it goes quickly (less than 25 minutes or so) and once you connect the app everything from there is a breeze. It's actually amazing how calming it is to watch and just relax as the little ball makes the pattern. There is also a changeable mood light setting to it as well so you can have a little bit of an 'art show' with the pattern making if you want. It definitely has a calming effect and the patterns are incredibly intricate. You can apparently download even more patterns, but I haven't tried that yet. The one thing I wish it had was just a small speaker to also play some audio through. Obviously you can do that in your home, but given that it's app controlled, would be great to be able to send a playlist to it and then relax to the visual and audio. That said, it does exactly what it's intended to do and is really nice and relaxing to watch. Just make sure you pick the right size because the big one is big. Soothing, great conversation piece and looks fantastic. Quiet grind of the ball rolling in the sand during design by I enjoy the slight noise while watching the design come to life.

The media could not be loaded. Years ago, I saw a similar product on Touch of Modern but the price was just too high to justify the purchase. When I saw this version and the great deal on the cream 21" at the time, I couldn't resist. It does not disappoint! I absolutely love it and was worth the price for sure.Assembly was quick and easy, and the app is intuitive and simple to use. You can download more patterns in the app so you are never bored of seeing the same ones repeatedly. You can set up a playlist of favorite patterns and even shuffle the playlist if you want. You can also tell it to pause after completing each pattern so you can see what it looks like before continuing to the next one. You can also control the speed of the ball.You also have full control over the lighting from the colors to the brightness and whether you want the light to slowly pulsate.The preciseness and level of detail is amazing. This was a steal at the time of my review.NOTE: the video included in my review is time-lapse so it is moving faster than it actually was.

I saw this in my dentists office and couldn’t stop talking about it to my wife. Very satisfying or ASMR if I’m using that right??Tons of patterns and play lists to choose from.Cannot make your own, which would be a cool feature.Only connects via Bluetooth. Wish it had WiFi capabilities. Phone tends to lose connection requiring a manual reconnect. Not a huge deal just a minor annoyance.Have had to reset the device a few times due to things just freezing. Software could be a little better, but I still really love this thing.Might be a hassle for someone that doesn’t get along with technology.A bit pricey.Overall I’m pretty happy with my purchase.

App works flawless on my device (looks like they’ve addressed all the concerns in the negative reviews). The ball does make noise but it’s nothing the average day noise can't drown out. You will definitely hear it if it’s super quiet tho. Sounds exactly like a heavy ball going over sand lol (crushing sound). To me it’s part of the experience and drawers people closer to the art being drawn constantly. I was able to get a stand from their website after signing up for their notifications. They notified me at the end of the day that they had them back in stock. Got 15% off and free shipping.

Been watching these for a few years and been waiting for the price to drop. Still kind of a luxury item though. I don’t see it helping with mental calmness like is claimed but is interesting to glance at occasionally. The app as everyone talks about is just as dated as everyone claims and there are plenty of reviews on just the app itself. Although there are still plenty of designs to choose from. There is no custom design option either. As far as noise from it if your in the same room the sand being ground by the ball bearing is noticeable. Also if you watch it, the ball kind of makes a jerky motion instead of smooth like they used the weakest magnet on the underside they could but still make it work. Currently owned for over a week and it continues to make flawless drawings in the sand.

Kids sat watching this for six hours… not breathing.. swear they are aliens!

This device is soothing and lovely - we had it running in our living room as a side table. Lights are a bit bright at night, but otherwise it's a great point for meditation and conversation piece, and the designs have great variety. Until, that is, the fabric under the sand started to bubble and lift, less than 6 months after opening. Within warranty, the seller will not exchange or refund, and Homedics Australia doesn't exist - it's an unmanned phone number and email address with no responses. Working through the credit card company now...

I really like this sand drift … very easy to put together … easy to program to get started …. The grandkids love watching the sand sculptures being created. I have recommended this drift table to lots of people … very relaxing to watch . love it 💜
