23 inch board fits perfectly
Quality chess boards can be a bit of an investment. And with curious cats who like to claim any flat surface as their bed, I wish the boards came with carrying bags that were custom made for them, but most do not. Fortunately this bag is nicely padded and nearly the perfect size for the 23 inch Royal Chess Mall chess board I ordered. It should protect the board from any abuse I or our mischievous cats put it through.

A nice bag that meets expectations and matches the stores description.

No padding on corners or edge
where the board may be prone to damage. The side padding is good and the construction seems good but I haven't used it yet.
