Right now this product performs as well as another premium company I buy from all the time. These bags are as sturdy, so far reliable (no pin holes), and almost 1/2 the cost for the same number of bags. They are gusseted "stand up" bags and very much the 7 ml thickness best for long term food storage. I have been freeze drying foods for over 3 years now and so have experienced the best and the worst. So far, Wallaby 2 quart have my vote. I like their quart sized too for the sturdiness, but the longer length with the shallow depth makes me think twice about them. They are a little harder to fill and close than the deeper and less wide quart size from other providers of Mylar bags. Again, tho, you save money.

Tried other generic brands and didn’t trust them. Worth spending the few extra dollars on the real deal. Sealed up with an iron and hair straightener perfectly. My life could depend on these one day so I didn’t want to cheap out on them.

I really like the Wallaby brand. Have a ton of friends and coworkers who use this product. It was highly recommended. I had a few bags out of the bunch that were damaged in some way. I should of checked the bags before putting in my dry goods and didn't realize until the next day after noticing that the oxygen absorbers didn't shrink the bag any. Upon investigation I found a few pin holes in a few of the bags. These bags were brand new out of the bag. Good brand but things happen in the factory or in transit. Make sure to check your bags 1st.

Very happy with the thickness of this product. It's good for long term food storage.
