WEN Clamping Saw Horse and Work Bench, 600-Pound Capacity (WA601) Black

I bought this because I didn't have a surface for a vise set up, and needed to torque stuff to ~100ftlb. I was a little worried that this wouldn't be able to do that, but I am happy to report that it can handle that task with ease. The vise jaw clamps incredibly tightly, very intuitive foot pressure to tighten, flip the switch, then foot tighten to unclamp.This item is heavy, and does come with a handle you will want to attach for ease of transportation.One tip for the third leg that I didn't realize until 2nd use, it comes semi tightened, so loosen it up and let it travel toward the top of the vise, there is a channel it will engage with , then tighten the knob. I found it easiest to do this while the jaw horse is upside down.This is day 2 of operation. I'll update if things go south.

It is built with very sturdy materials. It takes a bit of effort to lift it even with the provided handle. Easy to set up and work with. It doesn't have an incremental grip to the jaws - one press with the lock handle and you are done. I think that might be an issue with some products. I haven't used it enough to evaluate the lock (vise). Overall seems like a good product.

I was looking for something that would hold large pieces of wood so I could cut them down with a chainsaw and not have the wood fly all over the place. This clamping sawhorse works to perfection. Is easy to setup, easy to use, and keeps me safe while cutting wood. All the other woodworking advantages are just the cherry on top. It is very heavy and study, well made. If you are wondering if you should spend the money, stop thinking and buy it. You will not regret it.

Using for chainsaw carving.. works great.. only one concern.. foot pedal seems flimsy.. but I have stepped on it hard to clamp pieces with no problems.. yet. I can see using it for other projects as well.. happy with it so far.

Really great price, heavy and sturdy and well made. Instructions on opening were slightly confusing but it comes all assembled besides a carry handle which easily threads on by hand. Highly recommend

This product doesn't really make sense. First off, it is extremely heavy! One would think that the bulk translates into stability and it doesn't. It racks when subjected to lateral forces way too much. I would return it, but the sheer weight makes me dread picking It up much less repacking it and shipping it.
