These worked perfectly for standing up my talls boots that wanted to fall over & crease. These will help them stand up, hold their shape, and keep them from creasing. I didn't have to cut them to size to my boots, but they could easily be cut for shorter/smaller boots.

LOL Also, make certain that you purchase the tallest size for high boots, as they will add much better support and will be easier to get in and out. I love these and wish I had found this product sooner. I will be getting others for my shorter boots. Don't hesitate in purchasing this product.

A little short for knee or over the knee boots. A little hard to put in at first. You need to roll it up like a skinny tube and push it in and then release. It is harder to put in for boots with fabric inside as it rubs against the fabric and harder to push through. I got the 16" and it falls a tiny bit short of 16". For knee or over the knee boots, you need at least 20". It has to sit near the ankle area for the boot to stand on its own. It's a cheap solution and works for now.

These are not heirloom quality but they certainly work to keep boots upright. There are three sizes in the package I bought, and overall I'm very pleased.
