Adorable, funny, gentle lesson
3-4 yo loves it. Needs a little extra adult narration but that’s part of the fun.

Cute idea, simple story, well executed
As a parent with a 2-year-old, what you're looking for is a book that you can read repeatedly--about 18 times in a row--and NOT want to track down the author and beat him with a blunt instrument... This book delivers. It's fun, simple, the kids love it, and I don't mind reading it again ... and again ... and again....

The Best starter reader!!!
My 5 yr. old Great-granddaughter was able to read this on her first try! She saw and recognized the feeling from the faces in the book. It made her feel so good about herself and she read it again to her little sister, who loved it too. When Mom came we were all called to the living room for her to read it to everyone! Mom was very pleased : )

Children love to be read to.
This is a really nice book without too much reading; brief on each page. This works well with children from ages 2 to 4 as they sit until I finish reading! The pictures are cute as well. Highly recommend this book for the little ones.

Wonderful illustrations. Four words allow reader success fairly easily. Discussions about optimism and pessimism can be organized around this book.

Perfect for elementary health education lessons!
I use this book with my grade 3 class when we learn about changing negative unhelpful thoughts to positive helpful thoughts (or red thoughts to green thoughts.) The book is a perfect companion with the lesson - we love the illustrations,

Optimistic Bulls***
This was labelled under pessimism on good reads so I bought it to see what it was about since I do like kids books because they're quick reads but yeah don't buy this if you are after some kind of book with a pessimistic theme
