Cool board
I love this serving board to use with my other (GA) board for cheese, crackers etc. It may not provide much of space but it’s definitely nice to have it.

Nifty decorative piece but I wouldn’t use it as a cutting board
Totally Bamboo Oregon State Shaped Cutting Board: $39.99 at the time of reviewAs it turns out, both my wife and I are suckers for state-themed things. We already have a bamboo cutting board that is shaped like our state and we use it regularly. But you can’t really (or at least don’t want to) hang that on the wall with a bunch of cut marks on it. So when I saw this (quite similar) cutting board with these awesome full color town names painted on it, I knew I wanted it!*What I liked*:The quality of this cutting board is great! The cutout of my state is perfect and the bamboo is thick enough to be practical but not so thick as to be difficult to hang/mount. It also has a fine finish (which is actually underneath the painted town names).Speaking of the town names, they are fun and quirky and I enjoyed looking for and finding my favorite ones. This would make a great gift for anyone who loves their state.*What I didn't like*:The one thing I’ll mention is that while this looks great as a decorative item, I don’t think I’d use it as an actual cutting board. You could certainly serve off of it (like for a little charcuterie), but I’m afraid that the paint from the town names will scratch off too easily. The last thing I’ll talk about is price. While it doesn’t exactly break the bank, it is quite a bit higher than other state-shaped cutting boards. Now, none of them have the nifty town names by this particular artist. And I still think this would make a great gift, even at this price.*The Bottom Line:*I really like this cutting board. The quirky art style and inclusion of many of my state’s towns makes this a great gift idea. I don’t think I’d go using it as a daily driver cutting board, but it would be great for serving on. I debated with myself on what to rate this. Honestly I think it’s 4.5 stars. The high price is a little bit of a turn off. But since we can’t give half stars on Amazon, and since I think this is better than a 4, I landed on five stars out of five. I’d totally order this over again and might do just that when the holiday season rolls around.

Cute, but decorative — too pretty to cut on
I wouldn't want to actually use this for cutting things, so it's arguable how useful it is. I see it more as decor, because not only would cutting potentially wreck the painted areas, it would also get god-knows-what-ingredients into your food. So get this as a gift for yourself or someone who's visited you, and hang it as decor or use it to present chips or crackers (or set drinks or pitchers on).

Great and unique board!
This charcuterie board is adorable! (And yes, you can use it as a cutting board too but it's too cute for that! LOL) I lived in WA for a short time and loved it, so naturally I chose that one and I was super impressed with everything about the board, from its construction to the bright, cheery whimsical graphics. It has many city names throughout the state in a nice cohesive graphic with great and very appropriate typography (I'm a graphic designer, so I notice these things LOL)Full disclosure - I cannot bring myself to cut anything or even put food on this board. It's just one of those things that you will get and end up not using for it's intended purpose, because you just want to hang it on the wall and look at it. As such, it makes a GREAT gift for anyone who's a fan of their home state (or the place they wish was their home state)Highly recommend this board. It's well made, it's high quality...and it's just a win, period. I would rate it 5,000 stars if I could!

Very Washington-y
I'm not going to use this as a cutting board. I could - I could flip it over to the back where there aren't any words and chop up whatever for dinner, but I'm not going to. I'm going to hang it on my wall.We just moved to Washington State, so that means everything Washington is super cool. So I have to get this. It has the town we live in and the smaller towns around it. It's got the town we were looking at living in. It is very colorful and is super nice. One thing the picture doesn't really show is that the light tan paint is very close to the color of the bamboo, so it's harder to read than it looks like in the description pictures. This is great. Now I just need to invest in a few Command hooks to put on the tile backsplash in the kitchen.

Smiles and Memories
Having grown up on the east coast, I visited Oregon in 1986, fell in love with it, and moved here in 1988. During the subsequent ten years, I made it my quest to visit all of the many towns with fascinating names like Talent, Boring, Climax, Fossil, Rufus, Condon, Riddle, Drain, Powder, Zigzag, THE Dalles. When I saw this cutting board, I had to have it - brought back smiles and many memories. Anyone who loves Oregon - and there are a lot of us - would be delighted to have this. The board is artistic and colorful, which I think is its main attraction. As others have mentioned, it’s more of a serving board or display piece for sharing memories. I wish the town names had been laser-etched into the board, but I’ll take it as is. I just don’t want to risk cutting on it and repeated washings out of concern with the delightful town names rubbing off over time. The wood is bamboo and feels well sanded and finished. Charming to have and share but not necessarily as a cutting board unless you use the back side of course . . . but then you've hidden its main attraction!
