Finally a filter that fits! 2019 Forester
Had trouble finding the right air filter for the engine compartment. AutoZone told me that this is common with some Subaru models especially during engine changes (about every 5 years). Finally found this one on Amazon and ordered it. 1/2 the price of the dealership.I don't have the ability to test its claims but ut appeared to be made of quality material, it fit, and I am back on the road.I'd recommend this. It is every bit ad good if not better than the OEM.

Great air filter
The car runs great with this filter. I'm seeing about 1-2 mpg improvement

it's definitely given my car more power. I haven't cleaned it yet, as apparently you need special cleaning oil. will update later.

Fit my 2022 Forester Sport
Perfect fit. Good quality filter. As good or better than OE after looking at them side by side IMO.

Does not offer etiquette air flow to engine
I installed this engine filter to my 2020 Subaru Outback Premium after getting my 60k service done at the dealership with brand new tires installed. Over the course of the weeks I started noticing that engine was not getting enough air and car was having hard time accelerating. I was losing about 4-5 MPG out of nowhere. All the sudden, my 26-27 MPG average fell off the wagon to 22-23 MPG…. I was worried something was wrong with the car, so I took it back to my local Subaru service. They kept the car and inspected it thoroughly for 2 days and could not find anything wrong with it. During this time, I was getting ready to take a long trip to a high elevation vacation, and was desperately looking for a fix to ensure a smooth travel with my car performing normal. As the altitude increase cars would need to work harder to keep up.Right before leaving for my trip I decided to check out the engine filter which was installed 3-4 weeks earlier …. So, I put in a generic $20 filter and voila! The car immediately started running normal again. I also noticed that my gas mileage was back to 26-27 mpg (tested it for a week) and car was acting exactly as before .Finally, I do not like to leave negative reviews and impact the livelihood of any business, however, this filter does not do what it’s advertised to do! In fact it wasted my time, resources, and the dealership’s too. The material is tick, and little weird for air to flow thru. You would know what I’m talking about after comparing it a basic filter side by side.Lastly, I absolutely would not recommended it to any fellow Subaru owner. Especially if your car is already under powered with a 2.5L boxer engine. Just grab a basic filter under $20 and you will be better off!

Perfect fit for my 2022 Subaru CrossTrek Sport
I saw several YouTube videos comparing various air filters. They used actual dyno-testing to confirm their results and this filter showed an small increase of approximately 5 horsepower. But hey, for a super easy 3 minute job and a small amount of cash to purchase this filter, I’ll take the extra ponies!
