Solid but short visual novel
The best comparison would be as a shorter Dangan Ronpa/Phoenix Wright with no free time events as they'd make no sense with the game story. I finished this in roughly 20 hours or so, including the demo. If Dangan Ronpa and/or Phoenix Wright weren't your thing, I can't recommend this. If you're a fan of such games and you wanted a game to cover you until Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE comes out, this is a solid game though a bit on the shorter side as I mentioned before. Also, I'm not sure if I was just lucky or if they fixed the bug but I didn't run into any bugs including the one Brandi Ndea Brown did.

Great Story but has a bug
I was really enjoying the game and trying to understand the game mechanics. The game is story based but they have a Investigation Mode I guess that reminds my of Disgaea. However everytime I get the portion that allows me to finish the sequence I get the software error message. This happened twice before I just stopped playing because my saves weren't saving either. All in all I wouldn't buy till this is fixed. I even updated my Switch before playing.Very Disappointed

Pretty good
Earlier in my playthrough, I was worried this would just end up a 999 or danganronpa clone. As it went on it seemed to be the case, but then drastically changed direction and became something special. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys these anime murder games (is this a genre? i feel like it needs to have its own genre at this point). The gameplay is simple, yet robust enough to carry you through the game and scale fairly well. This version also comes with a download of the soundtrack, which is pretty good and even has an option for flac download, a nice touch.

Definitely a Visual Novel
In the 4ish hours I've played, I've only had actual gameplay once and it was the tutorial. The game is quite enjoyable if you like visual novels but if you don't, this isn't the game for you. Thankfully i read a review before purchase which warned me before hand about this. The game definitely earns its rated M rating, so keep that in mind in case that's going to bother you.

Well rounded
There are certain cases that were almost dark souls level of difficult and there were other parts that were quite simple overall it was enjoyable. About halfway through the game however I was able to figure out the big plot twists which surprisingly even so they proved enjoyable.
