so far I've bought three of these since i have two on my thermostat (one for heating and one for cooling), then one for my Nest door bell. they have all worked well and I've had no issues.

I wonder if this is a frequently returned item because it takes a small amount of fiddling with the wiring. I’m sharing my photo because a photo from a different review was very helpful to me. I installed in about 5 minutes. Only tip I would add: when you slap the nest face back on it and plug it in, just give it a minute to figure out that it has power. My batteries were low and shut off the face while I was installing this product. I was worried I shorted it or something because it became unresponsive but it just needed to gain some “juice” and wake up.

Didn’t work. No voltage at the wires. Used a meter and checked wall outlet which was live but wires had no power. Useless $10

Cost effective solution

There are no installation instructions included;so, you’ll need to go online to find. There needs to be specific reference to a page. And, the one I found was good but wiring needed further explanation.

If you have a 2 wire system for your boiler and are trying to run a smart thermostat this is exactly what you need. Nice and simple install.

This solved my problem with low power to my thermostat.

Had to rig it quite a bit to make it work. I finally managed something together, but even now my system gives an error because the cord isnt 100% working
