Great camera which works in day or night (with color)
The SV3C PTZ Security Camera is a solid choice for outdoor surveillance, offering a range of features that make it versatile and reliable for home or business security. Here’s a breakdown of its key aspects:Design & Build:The camera has a durable, waterproof design (IP66 rating), which makes it perfect for outdoor use in all weather conditions. Its dome shape and PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) capabilities give it a sleek, modern look while providing wide-angle coverage.Video Quality:This camera delivers 1080P full HD video, which is sufficient for most security purposes. The standout feature is its color night vision—a significant upgrade over traditional black-and-white night surveillance. The image quality at night remains sharp, thanks to built-in infrared lights that switch to full color in low light conditions.Motion Detection & Auto Tracking:The camera features humanoid detection, which means it’s smart enough to differentiate between human movement and other objects like pets or trees swaying in the wind. The auto-tracking function is particularly useful as it can follow a moving person within its field of view, ensuring comprehensive footage of any intruder or visitor.Two-Way Audio:With its built-in microphone and speaker, the 2-way audio feature allows you to communicate with anyone near the camera in real time. This is ideal for scenarios like instructing delivery drivers or scaring off potential trespassers.Storage & Recording:The camera supports 24/7 recording to an SD card (up to 128GB), making it easy to store footage locally without needing a cloud subscription. However, if you prefer remote access, the camera integrates seamlessly with apps for remote live viewing via WiFi, letting you monitor your property from anywhere. The ONVIF feature allows you to leverage your own DVR software like Zoneminder, iSpyconnect, etc.Ease of Use & Installation:Setup is straightforward, especially with the ability to connect over WiFi. The remote access feature means you can control the pan, tilt, and zoom functions through the app with ease, enhancing your overall control of the camera’s view. The CamHipro iphone/Android app allows you to instantly connect to Pan/Tilt/Zoom and also have a conversation with people near the camera. Conclusion:The SV3C PTZ Security Camera offers excellent value for money, with many high-end features typically seen in more expensive models. Its auto-tracking, color night vision, and two-way audio make it a strong choice for anyone looking to improve their home or business security. While it might not have ultra-high resolution or extensive cloud storage options, its reliable performance and versatile features make it a great buy.

A camera with rich features that SC3C is known for at a value price
The media could not be loaded. I own two other SV3C cameras, a baby monitor that's great to monitor pets, room temperature / humidity and a SV3C outdoor camera with a spotlight that turns on when it captures motion. My wife had suggested adding a camera to a back porch to alert us if anyone should approach the back of the building. Since our two SV3C cameras have worked really well with easy-to-use features, even better than other cameras we have tried, we made a good decision adding another SV3C camera to our residence. Before I mounted this camera on the back porch, I decided to test it from a second floor out a window. I know many frown on using a camera through a window, but I find positioning it to see what it can do through a window at a distance to be a really good test. This camera performed very well with a clear picture of motion from a distance as seen in the clip I am attaching. I found the HD setting on this camera to provide excellent sharp video. When I finally mounted the camera outside on the back porch, It has worked flawlessly. I am attaching a second clip which shows person coming up the back stairs. My wife is relieved that we finally have security monitoring outback. This SV3C camera has even more features than the other two that we use. These features are described by others in detail and under the description by sellers. The CamHipro software with this camera is amazing. It allows a phenomenal amount of control of the camera. One of my favorite features is the "frame the recognition of the object," but what really made this camera a keeper was how capable it is in Wi-Fi connectivity range to my Wi-Fi extender. Even though it is mounted quite a distance from my router's extender, it has not failed to keep connected and provide video to my phone with alerts or viewing video from the microSD card I inserted in the camera. All in all, I have found this camera to be an excellent outdoor unit packed with rich features SV3C is known for at a value price.

Works pretty well but has to be rebooted every few weeks
Tracks people pretty well, returns to preset location after. Easy setup but you must use the mobile app the first time (no ethernet). Still has the web configuration UI (port 80), so you don't need the app after setup. Boots up pretty quickly. Human detection works surprisingly well.I am using it for motion (RTSP). RTSP urls end in ":554/11" and ":554/12" (include login in url).Unfortunately, after a couple of months it developed a nasty habit of going offline until I pull the power. It's still on the network but does not respond to anything but ping. So far, customer service was responsive but has not resolved the issue. Frequency seems to be every 3-5 weeks.UPDATE: After seeing this review, SV3C refunded my purchase price. I think that's fair, considering time spent debugging and dealing with support. One star added.

Good camera for the price
The camera has a good quality video, the PTZ works fine, nice night vision, but the AI detection sucks, I keep seeing comments from people saying that only detects true human shapes and I don't know if it is me doing something wrong or we have total different cameras, because I've tried multiple combinations of settings, using motion detection along with AI, changing sensibility and even with all that keeps notifying "Human detection" for my dog, birds, and even a bush moving sometimes....I had another cheap camera that broked (an ICSEE camera) and the human detection was waaaay much better than this, I mean, basically worked.

Good value IP security cameras that support ONVIF, HTTP and rtsp
I have a number of IP cameras from different suppliers including Wansview, Wanscam, SV3C, Genbolt, Annke and D-Link. Some are quite old now so when SV3C offered me the chance of a discount if I reviewed this model for them, it was timely and I accepted their offer. This review is completely honest and has not been influenced by SV3C in anyway.First thing to point out is that you get two cameras. For £89.99 that is not a bad price, especially when these are outdoor cameras and IP65 rated. The cameras are smaller than you might expect. The overall height is 15cm (including aerials) or 6” and width is 10cm or 4”. The supplied power cable is just over 2 metres long. They come with a quick installation guide. You will need to install CamHipro on a mobile phone. Then use it to add the new camera(s). This is fairly straight forward. I know other reviewers have said they had it all set up in less than 1 minute. I was not so lucky. It is perhaps because I have a router with 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz and I am unable to access the router to turn off the 5Ghz. But I got there in the end.I placed one camera quite a distance from the router and it connected to the WiFi no problem, so the wifi pick up seems to be good. The mobile App allows you to set up Cloud Storage and Sharing. You can also install an SD card and record to the SD card. Alarm on motion detection has quite a few options including sensitivity and you can set up a schedule of when the alarm will be triggered for motion. You can send the captured picture or video via email or use FTP to transfer it. I did not see an option to manage SD card storage (E.G. delete after 30 days) but this may be because I did not install an SD card. However, if you use FTP you can use this to manage SD card file deletion. You can use your own PVR as the camera provides a HTTP and an rtsp feed and very helpfully it is also ONVIF compliant. To access these settings you will need to use a PC based application. SV3C suggest you use HIP2P but there are others available and they will pick up the camera. The CamHipro will show you the IP address once the camera is connected so it is easy to find and then make adjustments to settings. The picture quality of the cameras, in colour, seems very good. I have tested full colour image whist placing the camera in the dark and the colour image is very good. InfraRed is also available, of course. For the price point these are very good cameras. There are a couple of things that could make them better.1. The cameras are powered via a USB cable with a Type C connector to the supplied plug. These are of a similar design to many mobile phones. For an outside cable this is probably not best. The plug goes into a 3 pin socket and stands some 2” proud of the socket. If you happened to have a convenient outdoor socket (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Outdoor-Waterproof-Weatherproof-Electrical-Switched/dp/B09TDJF6J1/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?keywords=outdoor+socket&qid=1678701433&sr=8-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&psc=1) you will not be able to close the cover and therefore it will not be waterproof. You might be able to change the sockets to one like this so that you do not need to use the supplied plug. (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Lighting-Legends-Waterproof-Outdoor-Double/dp/B0BH54JZBZ/ref=sr_1_6?crid=2AL393BLCX7FV&keywords=smart+twin+socket+with+usb+wifi&qid=1678701629&sprefix=smart+twin+socket+with+usb+wifi%2Caps%2C71&sr=8-6) These also have a WiFi socket which would allow you to On/Off the camera to reboot it, which could be useful if you have it installed up high.2. As outdoor cameras you may want to install them high on a wall and/or away from the house. If you are doing this it would be useful to have some indicator (light) on the camera that shows you if you have a good enough wifi connection in the position you want to fix it, before you drill holes, etc. You could of course just get someone to look at the image via the app on a phone to confirm they are receiving live video, so not a show stopper. Finally, the package includes rawl plugs, screws and a tool to push into the camera to reset it (which you have to do on first install). I only found this after I had set the cameras up. And, if this is your first time setting up a outdoor camera, get it all working inside the house before you install it outside.

SV3C PTZ camera UK review
Fantastic PTZ camera from SV3C.The main unit is constructed from Sturdy plastic , the camera is more than suitable for outdoor usage .Twin antenna for great WiFi reception , no ethernet port on this camera . WiFi reception is very strong though .Always found SV3C cameras to have superb capture & picture quality .Really like the AI human tracking which avoids endless notifications for example a bird flying past the camera .The camera software is clever !The camera has approximately 2 metres of power cable , at the end you'll find a standard usb , which is plugged into the small form 3 pin UK USB plug . The power cable could be easily extended with a USB extender .Provided also are the mounting bracket , plugs & screws to attach to masonry , or just use the screws to install onto timber .Connecting the camera to camhipro was really quick & easy , follow the provided instructions step by step & the camera will be up & running within a few minutes.Plenty of features available within the camhipro app to choose image quality , image capture , SD card recording , also cloud storage on this particular device . Etc .Night vision is superb !The motor inside the camera is of good quality, very quiet in operation.Overall a great camera at a really good price point , the features for the price blow the competition away .Very happy .
