I got it to supply power to a 12 V inflator. Works great.

Don't need to run the engine to use car adapter
I bought this so that I can use my car tire inflator in the garage without needing to turn on the car. It works great, allowing me to plug the inflator into the adapter instead of the car "lighter" socket. Save gas and don't get poisoned by fumes! The 10 amps seems to be fine for my use. One thing that I have noticed is that the plug end of my inflators seem to slip out of the socket on this adapter pretty easily, so sometimes it stops working and you realize that it came unplugged. In fact, when I put the inflator into the socket, I can actually see it back out about 1/4 inch without touching it, so be advised that you need to keep an eye on the connection. But as long as everything stays attached, it does the job.UPDATEStill working fine. Now I simply put a bit of electrical tape on the connection with the plug to hold the plug in place, and it stays put.

Works great for home use for our ISUP
Since the BOTE pump doesn't come with an AC adapter, this fit the bill. We live on a water way, and don't want to use the truck every time.

Worked with my 12vdc tire inflator
Like: worked with my 12vdc tire inflator . Needed to fill my dad's lawn tractor tires.Wish: It had an on off switch. I should have looked for that in the images.

Still heats up
We have a Coleman cooler for the car. We already had an AC/DC converter to use it in our home but it is getting old and was heating up. So I decided to get a new one. We are Snowbirds. We live in Florida in the winter and in Michigan in the summer. Each time I have to clear out our refrigerator and turn it off before we leave. I put the remaining food and take it with us. This converter heats up too. It also says for safety, unplug it for 10 minutes after 30 minutes of use. I use our cooler for days so I can’t do that! The cigar like connector is also much shorter in length than my original Coleman one. I returned it.

Works very well and stays cool
I bought this to power my RoadPro car oven for when I was indoors or someplace with power, especially in a hotel room. It powers it for hours with no problem and the fan keeps it cool. Anyone with a 12vdc car oven or cooler would greatly benefit from this.

Traté con un Convertidor que tenía pero no entregaba mas que un ampere. Con este funcionó perfectamente, lo recomiendo. Además este no se clienta en exceso.
