We got this to help move some rather obstinate goats on our property, and it certainly does the trick. I tried it out on myself to see how painful it is, and it feels like getting snapped with a rubber band. Not enough to cause damage, but enough to move away from it. The charger is included, and while it would be nice to have a USB charger, the one included works just fine. It's not heavy, and it's really simple to operate. Just point, pull the trigger, and ZAP!

Had a cow that wouldn't load up in the trailer, problem solved.Had a boar that wouldn't leave the trailer, one zap and wowee did he get moving.Excellent tool for any stock trailer scenario.

I got this stock stick to replace my old one. My old one ran off D batteries and it always seemed to need new ones as the old ones got weaker. This didn't take long might i add. This new one is rechargeable with a safety switch not to drain the battery when not in use. It seems to hold very well. It even stores well. I used it after 1 month of storage and the battery seemed like it was just charged. The time i use this tool the most is moving the animal into trailer. Animals always want to turn back and resist getting into the trailer. Well, this stick delivers enough of a persuasion to move 2000 lbs of bull and muscle into the trailer. The old one would cost me $10 in batteries often. D size batteries are not cheap. This alone would pay for itself in no time.

I live in the country (real back woods/ lake country) and sometimes uninvited random wild animals show up in my yard along with my OWN dogs and cats - we have bobcats, bears, coyotes, wolves, fisher cats, and other predators around here that could do some real damage to my pets. I have a bunch of items near the door for when the dogs go out - an air horn, bear spray, spot lights, and now, this. I hope to never need to use this prod to get animals apart, but I feel like it's a good addition to my "break up wild animal fights" kit.

Alright, sorry for the pun, but seriously this thing is built like an old Nokia. Putting it together is easy, and the only complaint that I can come up with is the non-standard charging port. I'd much have preferred to see a USB-C charging port instead.It's reasonable for the money, is light to carry around, and again is durable beyond belief.

Was pretty nervous about buying a rechargeable hot shock…. Let me tell you I am glad I did! It is sturdy but still flexible, the electric shock it delivers is spot on! I like that it has a switch to turn it off and on and it has held up very well! Would recommend to friends and family in the cattle business!
