OrangatangStimulus 70 mm Freeride Longboard Skateboard Wheels (Set of 4)

I have a Landyachtz Drop hammer longboard. After a year of riding on the Hawgz wheels that came with the complete, I was shopping around for replacement wheels for an upgrade. I saw many positive reviews for these Orangatang wheels on both Amazon and YouTube. I ordered myself a set to try them out.Great wheels. I have had them my board for a couple of months now and I am happy with my purchase. I'm a very casual rider and I've only been riding for about a year. But they have either met or exceeded my expectations for my skill level. They seem to have more technology than the stock wheels that I got on my complete originally. I would strongly recommend them.

Like riding on butter! Nice wheels for cruising and carving. Hard enough durometer for sliding but still grippy enough for cruising. Rounded edge and no need to "break them in." Ready to roll and slide with. Was really impressed with the bearings (great price and great quality)! Fast, smooth, quiet ride. Have been longboarding for a couple of years (downhill and cruising/carving), but hadn't been able to learn how to slide. Decided I needed to get serious about learning how to slide as a way to shave off speed and control my board (a necessary skill when bombing hills). I know many boarders will say that wheels don't make that much of a difference, but I disagree. These wheels have allowed me to finally gain a new skill. Would strongly recommend buying the set with the bearings included. A+ quality for both the wheels and bearings!

Had heard great things about Orangatang, and being relatively new to long boarding and with the suggestion of a friend, I thought I would give them a try. I threw them on my Loaded Dervish (the original model) and so far they are fantastic. Super smooth ride. I've got them running on Bones Super Red bearings, and together they feel like butter. I commute on my board to and from class, and before I got these I had a cheap set of generic wheels. The difference now is amazing, and I don't know how I survived with the previous wheels. When I got my second board, the Loaded Poke, I opted to go with Orangatangs again because I liked these so much. Whether its a laid back cruise on flat ground, or a zippy run down a hill (within reason that is, I don't mean downhill racing or anything) these wheels meet and exceed my expectations at every turn (pun most definitely intended).

The wheels i purchased are 70mm and 80a (soft). I have some 75mm and 86a Durons (larger and harder); to be honest, because these are slightly smaller and softer, and the fact that I tic tac and carve for miles (don't kick push at all), there is a noticeable difference for me in that these are slower and a little less maneuverable than the larger and harder Orangutang Durons that i use (and really like; despite the yellow color). If your a street skater with a cruiser, and kick push everywhere, or a long board rider, these are great wheels I believe. The Orangutang wheels are made with great quality. I will use them on one of my other skates that i like to try different setups on eventually, but for a serious skate workout day.. I put the harder 75mm 86a Durons back on my dogtown bulldog.

Bought these wheels for my daughter and I'm a little jealous in that they're not on one of my decks. As soon as I took them out of the package, which BTW arrived quickly, the orange and blue coloring caught my eye. They have a nice feel for cruising and grip well for carving. Best thing about them is the "Made in California" tag, which is something I want in as much skate equipment as possible.Overall, highly recommend these wheels if you get them at the right cost.

Perfect freeride wheels. Grippy when you want it to be and instantly kicks out at your command. doesnt lay as much thane down as i would like but that means the wheel lasts much longer than say Sugar FreeRides or ABEC11 FreeRides

The Orangatang Stimulus 70 mm remind me my old Kryptonics 70 mm which were a miracle. I still have them.The Orangatang Stimulus 70 mm are good soft wheels, with softness of 80 Durometers, very good for street riding on pavement and asphalt roads, makes the riding soft and quiet.the price is decent, and with good bearings (NSK) they fast on the street like I used to ride during 1980 on my Red Kryptonics (but the Kryptonics were better).I also own the Purple Stimulus 70 mm which a bit harder (83 Durometers), and they also very good, fasteron harder pavements.

La police d'écriture sur la roue n'est pas la même que sur le modèle récent. "Ancien" stock je pense mais neuve. Sur mes roues installées mais achetées 66€ les 4 la police est en gras sur le mot " stimulus". Mais superbe deal à 44 euros les 4! 22€ en moins.En vérifiant le durometre on est bien à 80 (a).

Ottime ruote, per me che peso 95 kg sono ideali per imparare gli slide! Le ho montate su un carver cx black tip!

Overall one of the best longboarding wheels you can buy imo!

Ruedas de la firma Orangutang así que uno se espera unas ruedas de calidad y efectivamente es lo que recibes. Montadas en long, cuestan un poco acostumbrarse a ellas pero cuando le pillas el rollo, son muy controlables y responden bien a trucos (o eso me dice mi hijo que es el que monta).
