My computer is working and installation was easy

Installation took less than 5 minutes and my Mac now enjoys a new lease of life! I would definitely recommend this to everyone looking to refurbish their older MacBooks.My old MacBook was on it's last legs and I desperately needed a battery replacement, and so I was surprised to find this replacement at such an affordable rate. What was even more surprising was that it came with the correct custom-Apple screwdrivers needed to open up the MacBook. Nice!Just a little tip, after unscrewing the screws, place them on a small magnet. They are tiny and they're very easy to lose. Also, remove the screws from the back first as they are the largest and hold everything down and then slowly move down same with the internal battery screws.

Battery dead on arrival. After installation batter refused to charge. Now I have to reinstall old battery, return this one, and purchase one from a different seller. Don't make the same mistake I did and purchase this better, you will regret it.

Runpower Battery Replacement for 2011 MacBook AirReceived the unit from Amazon, packaged well, came with 2 screw drivers to disassemble your MacBook Air with ease.After removing the bottom plate, I removed the 5 screws holding in our old battery. Interesting the plastic surrounding the old cells deteriorated and cracked. The Runpower battery swapped in nicely.After booting, battery showed 1% charge which is ok. I checked the system report to check the battery status and it shows that it had no cycles and is healthy.So far so good. I’d definitely buy this unit again. I’ll update the review with multiple charge cycles but this first go reveals the high quality of this battery.

I used this battery my MacBook Air from 2012. The battery comes with the screwdriver required to open the laptop. Great product, easy to install. Totally worth it. This battery functions just like an original Apple battery. Apple is no longer making replacement battery for old MacBook Air laptops. So, this is a godsend.
