I ordered the table on the 1st of April, with an anticipated delivery date of ~8 May. The table was manufactured in India, something not clear to me prior to placing the order. A representative for the manufacturer contacted me several times in April to confirm specifics of the table. The table shipped in early June, and I had to complete additional international shipping forms. The table arrived in the U.S. the end of June at which point I requested by the shipping company to complete the additional international shipping forms; the same ones which I had previously provided to the manufacturer. The table finally arrived the second week of July. However, only the table arrived. No stands/legs, as they shipped separately after the table itself was delivered. The table had no pre-drilled holes to use mounting the stands, I was informed instructions would accompany the stands. The stands arrived the last week of July (part of the delay was due to the stands I originally selected being out of stock, and my need to select an alternative) with no instructions and what I considered to be inferior quality screws for mounting. Desiring not to mar the table, I contacted the manufacturer for assistance/instructions to which was informed I should contact a professional woodworker for assistance. Mounting the stands was challenging as the base plate had minimal clearance from the legs, making the use of a drill difficult. In the end, I purchased different legs which allowed me to mount plates to the table and then attach the legs to those mounting plates. Not only did this allow me to use a drill to ensure the screws were flush through the plates into the table, but the different legs arrived with higher quality screws. *Update: The end of August FedEx sent me bill of $44.67 to cover additional shipping costs related to the table...lovely. The table itself is nice in appearance and the wrappings used to protect the table during shipping were able to protect the table through that process. Given the cost of the table, some sort of mounting brackets installed by the manufacturer would have not only been nice, but I think are something that should be expected by the customer. Additionally, the shipping time was considerably longer (nearly four months in total, versus 5-6 weeks) than advertised. The three stars for the review are from the long shipping time, additional paperwork during shipment, and lack of foresight and support by the manufacturer for installing the stands/legs.
