Excellent book and great advice
I bought this book for my partner who had recently graduated and was looking for jobs. It offers excellent advice and guidance on finding the right career for you, on completing applications and the interviews/ assessment centres. It is well written and easy to read. I would highly recommended to not only graduates but anyone looking to find the right career for them.

A great guide to have in your jobhunting journey
As a student navigating the challenging path of transitioning into the professional world, I find this guide to be an invaluable companion. It's the kind of resource that deserves revisiting, especially during those tough moments on the journey to securing employment. This guide excels in fostering self-reflection, aiding in the discovery of one's unique selling points, and providing assistance in crafting a compelling CV, cover letter, and preparing for interviews.I recommend this book to my fellow students and graduates who are grappling with the complexities of today's job market. It serves as a beacon of confidence, offering the support needed to persevere and succeed in the pursuit of meaningful employment.

Essential resource for all students navigating their options and those supporting the process!
This book is full of super useful, self led activities and reflections. Working in one of London's top university Career Teams I am regularly encouraging students to purchase this book as it is by far one of the best I have come across.Having worked extensively with secondary school students in Australia too, I have shared this resource with my ex colleagues there as I believe it would make a valuable contribution to their careers curriculum. This is also a book that parents could read to feel more aligned and aware of the options their children have available and would equip them with the knowledge an credibility to start productive conversations around career choice.Buy this book!

Great book. Great advice. Great read
I loved this book because it covers everything from establishing motivation for a particular career to managing LinkedIn connections and performing at interview. Also, as Hannah previously worked in graduate recruitment at some top companies / law firms, you know her advice is well-founded. And, like all of Hannah's content, this book is written in a really lovely, positive, encouraging tone. It's easy to get overwhelmed when applying for jobs so this makes a big difference.

An excellent book for grads & students who are tired of prescriptive careers advice
I was lucky enough to receive an advance copy of this book due to my job as careers liaison within a university. I found it to be excellent. It presents a more holistic, coaching approach to help you explore and identify career pathways that really suit you. Very different to the prescriptive careers lectures I experienced as a student. Particularly good if you’re unsure of what pathway you want to take - but also lots of really clear advice for those who are ready to take the next step (e.g., preparing CVs and interview practice). I recommend this book to all my students.
