This is a pretty good, affordably priced spear head
$25 shipped? All day long. I got the smaller one of the two spearheads and it is well made, symmetrical, tough enough to stand up to actual practice (if you want to do that, which I do). The steel is thick. The socket is about an inch around, which is smaller than usual, which I like, because it won't require an overly large and heavy pole, so I can use a tougher wood, like hickory instead of ash. My only complaint, and it is a pretty small one, is that since the tip is sharp, the sides should be closer to sharp - there is about a 1mm thick flat edge, which isn't toooooo hard to sharpen, really, but they may as well have ground it closer, since it is already too pointy for reenactment purposes or stage combat. I think period arms makers need to just decide that a thing is either for stage and reenactment use (or HEMA fencing in some cases) OR an actual weapon and not try to have it both ways. That having been said, this is an insanely good spearhead, particularly for the money, and I would recommend it to anyone who is capable of making a spear shaft and securely fitting it. FOR ONCE, something from Amazon really exceeded my expectations.

Seems solid!
Seems pretty solid.I've handled 75-125 dollar spear heads and this doesn't seem much different. I got an axe from Mythrojan and it's held up beautifully so far, so I have high hopes for this spearhead!

Arrived quickly
A heavy and solidly built spear head. It has a hole to pin it to the shaft on the side. It fit on a 1"inch dowel rod with a little tapering from a grinder. It does not have a sharp edge at all and would take some grinder work to give it such but works fine for Renaissance Fair duty. I got it as a replacement for a spear that I lost. It would need some grinding to make it an actual boar hunting spear.

Great blunt spearhead
I purchased this as the head for a walking spear. The socket is solid all around without any visible lines/welds, and doesn't have a hole for a screw or nail so I will likely mount it with pressure and epoxy. The tip is a perfect blunt nub so its perfectly safe for use.If you are looking for a spear head for stage/reenactment combat or for something cool for a walking staff or religious item (some cultures use spears in practice)Then this is the one you want.
